Hello crafty friends! Today is a super fun day here on the blog. I am joining in with the girls over at Altenew for a Crafty Friends Blog Hop. I am excited to check out all the stops and learn more about everyone and read all their crafty stories!
My craft story started 11 years ago in June of 2007 when I started this blog. My friend, Jen Carter, invited me to a stamp party and the rest is history. I have spent the past 11 years making cards for fun, guest designing for companies, I've been blessed to be on some amazing design teams and challenge teams and have even won a few paper crafting contests over the years. I have even created my one and only card making helper die. My Card Hanger Die!
But one of my most favorite things about this hobby is the people. I have been blessed to meet MANY friends in person at different retreats or even meet ups while on vacation. I count so many as friends and that to me makes this hobby even better! I also find so much inspiration from friends and their blogs or instagram. There are so many people to learn from out there!
One of my biggest crafty crushes is the one and only Julie Ebersole. Girlfriend can make cards now! Her clear and simple style makes my heart happy! I am here today with a CASE'd card from Julie.....
I love the gray base of this card with those bold pink blooms. I recreated it here...
To create this card, I used the gorgeous Altenew set called Handpicked Bouquet to mimic the pink blooms in Julies card. I grabbed a light gray card base and then cut the Watercolor Stripes Cover Die and attached it to the card base. I used the Fine Alphabet Die to add the hello sentiment to the card front and then added some little rain drops around the blooms.
Keep reading to learn about the special offer this week, the prizes....there are lots! And check out the full blog hop list below. Don't forget to comment here on my blog for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Altenew. I will announce the winner here on 12/9. :)
