Today's sponsor is the fabulous Reverse Confetti. I was blessed to be on Jen's design team for a couple years and LOVE her stamps. I was so excited to get to play with some RC again for today's post.
I have a card and tag created for you today. I am a CAS stamper and love clean lines. These projects show just that!
First up is a card created with the Reverse Confetti Paper Pack called Very Merry. I don't use patterned paper that often but I do LOVE this pack. I added the paper to the card base, and then popped up the sentiment on the stitched panel. I added in a piece of ribbon just for a little detail.
Next up, a matching card. These sentiment from Reverse Confetti's set called Christmas Blessings are so pretty! I just love this font.
I cut the RC Thanks Tag with white cardstock and then again with the patterned paper. I stamped the sentiment and added in a little greenery from Concord & 9th's Take a Bough dies. I added in several enamel dots for berries.
Last, I finished it off with some red ribbon and twine.
These projects were fun to make and I can't wait to pass them on and spread some Christmas Cheer.
I have a little tip to share that I used when stamping. As I was making this project, I thought I would quickly video it and share today.....
It’s not a party without a prize - and with prizes every day there are several chances to win! ReplyDeleteVery sweet projects. I love the little pop of ribbon!.. I was looking at these and thinking ...what if you made your sentiment panel on the card into a pocket to hold the tag. That way, your recipient would get a two-fer. Thanks for a very lovely project. I love playing with patterned paper, and this particular paper is very nice.

A very modern twist on your Christmas card, it reminds me of the Modern Quilt movement in design and color. I especially like the gift tag, if I received the tag it would go on my Christmas tree for years to come. Thanks for the video!

ReplyDeleteI love that card and tag. Thanks so much for the stamping tip, too. I can't tell you how many times I have ruined a piece of cardstock with a less than clean stamp. I never thought of using it with clean stamps, though, to avoid moving the cardstock. The magnets usually don't hold the piece down, so this is a brilliant idea.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing such a beautiful card! Being new to card-making, can you please tell what CAS means? I read it everywhere but have no idea what it means! I'm not the greatest stamper so buying the Misti has been a lifesaver! I think it's the best tool I've purchased next to my die-cutting machines! (Peg)
ReplyDeleteLove the card ideas and the tag, too. Such fun! Great to have the stamping bonus tip video as well! One other thing you can do to avoid having the stamp pick up the paper when it isn't inked is to lightly run your embossing anti static pad over it. Just be sure and wipe it off well with your finger tips before you ink it up. Thanks for sharing!
