Hey there, friends! Today is a super fun day over at Simon Says Stamp! It's time for the STAMPember Blog Hop! There are SO many new goodies and I have some adorable new Christmas dies to share with you today. If you want to start at the beginning of the hop, head on over to the Simon Blog for a full list of stops. If you are already following along, you should have come here from Lucy's blog. She is one amazing lady and I can't wait to see what she has whipped up for us today!
I have 2 cards for you today. This first card features the new Holiday Frames die. I adore this polaroid style die, because the possibilities with this die are endless. I have a super easy Christmas Photo card made up for today....
I cut out the die in some Neehah Cardstock and then trimmed my photo to match. I used foam tape to pop the frame up to give it some dimension. I added in some glitter tape along the bottom and then added in a Maryanne Snowflake die I cut out of vellum. I added in a doodlebug glitter dot for a little extra detail. The background is made up of Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red, Green Leaf and Sea Glass card stocks. I cut each into 1/2" strips and then glued them to a white panel. I added that panel to the white card base using foam tape. (all products linked below)
First, I stamped the background using the Wide Stripes Background stamp and some Simon Says Stamp Fog ink. I cut the Christmas Blessings out of some gold card stock and layered it up with the Deco Tree die. I added in some doodlebug patterned paper behind the tree and cut out too, for a pop of color. (All products linked below)
The little spirals on the tree are not glued down and I love the look! Like little springs. I also glued down the sentient in a few random places just to give it a little more of a 3D look.
So that is it for me today. Are you in the mood to make some Christmas cards now? Or how about win some stuff to make some fun Christmas cards? :)
There is a pretty fabulous prize for today's blog hop...
Simon Says is giving away an awesome prize pack to one random commenter on every blog in today's hop. How cool is that? The giveaway for the prize pack will close at 6:00pm EST on Thursday September 11, 2014 and the lucky winners will be announced on Friday, September 12th over on the Simon Says blog. Good luck!
