What's the general consensus by now? Feedly or Bloglovin?
I think they both have great apps for the phone but let me know if you love one more than the other! Here is a button for you bloglovin friends. I have that one pulled up right now and am checking it out.

Can't wait to hear what your thoughts are! I guess we have until July but I think I better get organized so I don't loose my favorite blogs! :)
ETA: I have loaded my google reader in to both Feedly and Bloglovin. VERY easy for both. Its nice too, because you can easily edit both and add or remove blogs to your list. One benefit of Feedly so far...you can comment right from Feedly. Nice and quick! Not sure if you can do that or not with Bloglovin but I thought I would stop back in here and let you know what I have found out so far. Thanks to everyone for their comments so far!
I loaded Feedly several weeks ago when the news came out about Google Reader. I like that it will sync with my PC, my Android phone, and my Kindle. It took a little getting used to but I like it now. Haven't checked out Bloglovin'.
ReplyDeleteI chose Feedly. Bloglovin is pretty, too, but I felt like it was too public. I just want to view my favorite blogs, not share and heart and all that other stuff.
ReplyDeleteI like BLOGLOVIN, and I follow you.
ReplyDeleteMany greatings from Germany

Let me know what you decide, Laurie! I'm in the same situation. I am using Bloglovin' right now - feel it's a bit easier to work with but have transferred all my Google reader to both until I decide LOL!
ReplyDeleteI loaded both 3 weeks ago and have used both. Bloglovin' hands down for me!
ReplyDeleteEgads, I simply cannot decide! Some of my friends have gone with Bloglovin', some with Feedly, and some with Bloglines! Why oh why did Blogger have to stress us so? I might need retail therapy by the time I make this decision :)

ReplyDeleteFeedly for me!
Too funny - I love Bloglovin - I like the daily emails of updated posts only. Saves me time having to go online.
ReplyDeleteI have been dealing with Google+ [to get it GONE] for the entire day! If you haven't updated...don't. It is NOT impressive. Just saying....
I've been using Feedly on my iMac, iPhone, and iPad. Like it on all three so I didn't look at Bloglovin'. I follow you on Feedly. :-)
ReplyDeleteI checked them both out and ended up with Feedly....
ReplyDeleteI haven't even looked at either yet!
ReplyDeleteI went with Feedly: (1) I wanted one that did desktop and iPad, (2) there are some blogs that I want to follow that bloglovin' can't find but feedly and Google Reader can and (3) please keep in mind that I played on bloglovin' for about 10 minutes, but it seems to me that you have to open each blog post to read it (at least on the PC). Really? That would take me forever. In feedly, the whole thing is displayed!
ReplyDeleteI am currently trying Feedly and Bloglovin' - and they both seem very user friendly. I initially tried NetVibes but I couldn't get to grips with it easily - not their fault - I find learning new things a bit difficult. I think both Feedly and Bloglovin' have great features. Feedly doesn't work on Internet Explorer which is a problem for me for where I stay at the hospital with my family member when they are having treatment because the Guest Computers that I use only have Internet Explorer as their browser. At home, I use Mozilla which is fine with Feedly.
ReplyDeleteI really like that I can have the "Follow this Blog with Bloglovin'" button on my blog for my readers so they have an immediate alternative to Google Reader - and one that is really easy to use. Not sure if Feedly have a button like that (?). Maybe someone knows......
I've been playing with both. Both make it easy to import your Google Reader blogs, but Feedly allows you to keep your categories. With Bloglovin you have to go back and rearrange things once you've imported your blogs. I think I'm going to end up using Feedly. HTH!
ReplyDeleteI'm another vote for Feedly - the one downside I've found so far is that deleted blogs come back, just like the do in google reader but I'm hoping when they turn the reader off that feedly with keep them gone. There is one very annoying old blog that some spammer seems to have taken over and I'm fed up of having 600 crappy russian blogposts to delete!
ReplyDeleteI've been using Feedly for a couple of weeks now and really like it.
ReplyDeleteI switched to Bloglovin' a while back and like it pretty well. I like being able to click through all of my unread posts without having to open up a new window each time.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately a couple of non-crafty blogs I follow seem to make the navigation bar at the top crash when they open, so I have to close the window and go back to my Bloglovin' dashboard to navigate past those blogs. It's not frequent enough to make me give it up, just annoying.
ugh- I started to try feedly, and can NOT figure out how to add blogs to it...most people I have heard are going with it, so I figured I better learn it! maybe I still need to check out bloglovin.
