Stopping in today with a fun little CSS card. This little cow image was one of my favorites from this new Clear and Simple release. This is my kinda image to color for sure! Super easy! :)
The sentiment, cow and moon are all from Sweet Dreams. That fabulous background stamp is from Circles Plus. This set is a great deal because you get 7 background stamps all for $24. I love this set!
So, did I tell you I met the Pioneer Woman the other day? I did. It was pretty cool. She had a book signing in Wichita and me a a bunch of friends went down to get our new cookbooks signed. I met Cowboy Josh and Marlboro Man too! In fact here is his signature....
Yes I had to ask him to sign this page...from her first cookbook! He didn't even blush! He said he had signed it before! LOL.
I actually met Ree in the bathroom. We were getting ready to leave because our tickets numbers were in the 900's. It was already 9:30pm and they were only on 400. (We figured at this rate we would have been there till about 12am and then we had an hour drive home.) We decided to go home. I told the girls I needed to use the restroom before we left and guess who was in there? Ree. I was sorta star struck, which I totally assumed that I wouldn't be...but I was. I asked her to take a picture with me but the picture of me I hate. I look really excited and kinda dorky and overly excited...not totally loving the idea of sharing this photo....but I MET P-DUB in the bathroom! ;)
My friends followed shorty there after and she offered to sign our books right there in the bathroom! So I have both signatures in my new cookbook! Anyway, it was a great evening and a fun story.
I am off to get something done. Not sure what. But there is always lots right? Hope you all have a great day! Thanks for stopping!

ReplyDeleteLaurie,
ReplyDeleteI'm with you -- this is the cutest, sweetest image ever! I absolutely fell in love with it when I saw it. You did an excellent job with it too! Love your card.
And the fact that you met Pioneer Woman and her husband, well, I hope you know you're a celeb now *laughing* I grew up not only eating chicken fried steak but it was one of the first things I leaned how to cook (besides cornbread). Thank you for your visit to my blog this morning. Loved having you visit. Come back again and I'll do the same here.
Hugs,
Susie ~
