So my sister is here from Colorado! She gets to hang out with me till Christmas! I am sooo excited to have her here! I told her that while she was here we would do lots of fun stuff! (It is way more exciting where she lives so I have to keep her busy!)
So here is one project we have been working on! Aren't they cute?
We have made TONS of these! I am loving the colors and all the patterns!
And I think they will be really fun to give as Christmas gifts!
And they look super cute on your coffee cup! Environmentally friendly...Washable....keeps your coffee warm...how much better does it get?
And here is my fave.....
I love black and white and red AND damask....If you follow my blog you already know that! :)
Thanks for coming by today!
Adorable...I love them all but am with you on the damask!
ReplyDeleteLaurie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! These are so cute and would fit perfect around a white chocolate mocha from Starbuck's! LOL!

Cute, Cute, Cute Laurie! How fun for you guys to get to craft together. Enjoy your time with your sister.
ReplyDeleteMy battery is going and I am hyperventilating reading your post. FREAKING LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE...... who would have thought to use fabric vs felt ....... UHHH Laurie or LB that is how we refer to you in our house... I am like Emma I have imaginary friends or at least that is what Curt thinks. I talk to the computer ....... and I think what the answer would be and I talk back again ... okay well not that bad but I am sure you are laughing at me. Do you know I can type 80 words a minute :) LOVE THESE. Do you not do a seam on them and use the button for the closure ?? They have this new fabric place here that has all kind of crazy fabrics ....... now I need to go check the out even more then I thought:) I love my felt one that I made but I do not want to use all my felt on these!!! And do you put something to make them more stiff or just straight fabric!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time with your sister!!! I love living near mine!!! Oh I did not email you back because I went a much more simple route then I had thought and then I forgot to respond.......
xoxoxo
Super cute and so colorful! What great little gifts. Have fun with your sister!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, these are SO cute. Makes me want to get out my sewing machine.

OMG - love them - and how "green" this is. I keep my sewing machine up and ready all the time - but usually it just collects stuff like dust. What an inspiration these are.
ReplyDeleteLOVE them all! Perfect little gifts. Such fabulous fabric choices.
ReplyDeleteFreaking awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love them Laurie & Steph! So, so cute!! I want some!! Are you selling? If yes, can I come over?? LOL!! I am serious here!! :) Sent you a text too! Super, super cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the cozies!!! Black & white is so elegant! Have fun with your sister and give her lots of hugs too!!!
ReplyDeleteok so are you selling these too? I so want one!! Also, I while back I talked to you about making me a cover for my circut expression...anyway you can do that for me too? You do such a wonderful job!! And I haven't a clue how to sew!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous!!! They do look so super cute on the coffee cups! Girl, you are just so darn creative and talented!
ReplyDeleteThese are just darling. I would love to try and make some myself. I just need to get my sewing machine fixed now. My bobbin is giving me issues. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are so fun Laurie.....I just LOVE those fabrics! Hope you are having fun with your sister....I miss talking to you!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen these. So stinkin's cute and the folks you give them to are going to love them! I hope you have a wonderful time with your sister. I'm so excited that my daughter is flying in later today and will be with us til the 28th!
ReplyDeleteThese ARE fun to make. I've only ever made one as a bracelet, but I do so love the elastic and button closure that you used better than the velcro I used on mine.
ReplyDeleteToo funny to see these here, I just made a bunch too, but out of felt. Great minds think alike. :-) These are so super cute!! Love them and so will the lucky people you give them too!
ReplyDeleteThese are super cute! I want to come over and play too, I don't have a sister!!! I'll adopt one! Very nice, cute, cute, cute.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Hope you had a great time with your sister in town...I have to travel to see mine with all my kids in tow so it's more of an extended 'play date' than sister time. ;) I, too, love the damask one!
