I have been scrapbooking since about 1998ish. I LOVE to scrapbook but I can safely say that I haven't finished an actual layout in quite sometime. I started making card about 2007 when my dear friend Jen got me hooked on this "other" hobby! :) BUT, the great thing about these hobbies, is that they are not separate at all! If you are a scrapbooker you have just about everything you need to make a card! And I love how stamps can make a layout just as amazing as the typical scrapbook supplies! I see so many of my PTI sets as a great add on to any layout!
Recently Nichole Heady has been posting some layouts and I have loved to see her creations! So here is a page with a little Nichole inspiration and a whole 'lotta stamping!
Everything about this page was made with a stamp! OH and I used some of that fabulous Orange Divine Twine on this page too! Check it out HERE!
So if you ever hear that stampers can't be scrapbookers and scrapbookers can't be stampers here is proof of how fun it can be!!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Laurie your scrapbook page turned out amazing!!! Love the colors too ....... and I LOVE how you did the impression plate on the card holder ....... are you left handed :)
ReplyDeleteLooks fantastic - I must get to my piles of pictures!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, Laurie! I'm a scrapbooker too but I don't know which one came first - I've been doing both ever since I can remember. :) You really rocked this page using so many stamps - love it!
ReplyDeletetotally sweet.....simple yet with a lot of detail.....really compliments the photos!
ReplyDeleteI love this layout Laurie! I have been a total scrapbooking slacker, because I don't like how long they take to finish, but you have inspired me to use my stamps and make it easy! Thanks girl!
ReplyDeleteThat's very pretty! I have never done one scrapbook page. It intimidates me...plus,we're not a picture taking family so...lol. I really like the colors you used and that's a cute picture of the kids.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful layout Laurie!! So many pretty details, and I particularly love the Sunshine impression you embossed on your journaling pocket!
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite part of this layout other than that sweet picuture of the kiddos, is that sunshine pocket you created for the journaling card. Your notebook lines are PERFECT!!! I haven't scrapbooked in almost 2 years!
ReplyDeleteCute page, Laurie! I've been saving some layout ideas recently in hopes of making my wedding album one of these days. Thanks for the inspiration!

ReplyDeleteGreat layout! So much fun!! I like using stamping on my layouts, too. It's nice to be able to create beautiful cards and layouts with both my card-making and scrapbooking supplies!! It really is so much better to get multiple uses from so many supplies!
ReplyDeleteVery cute LO! Loving it! :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteSo adorable, Laurie!! I started as a "scrapbooker" but am so intimidated by the ideal of "getting it just right..." I really need to get doing that again! Esp with the new journaling stuff that PTI has been putting out!
ReplyDeleteBTW, there's another challenge up on my blog if you're interested! ;)
Your scrapbook page is so beautiful, and I just LOVE your new photo here (and on the forum.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely layout! I would love to be a scrapbooker, but I'm so much of a perfectionist and it takes me so dang long! Exactly why I love card making. I guess it wouldn't hurt to print out a few pictures here and there and give it a go, however. I just need to do it! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWow! I LOVE this scrapbook page! the colors are fabulous and the design is also great! It is good to put 2 and 2 together Laurie...i have seen your blog before...and to think we are just neighbors!I look forward to meeting you in October.
