OK so I am seriously behind on the Paper Dolls challenges! I hope they don't kick me out! hehe!
Here is a card I made specifically with Anika in mind...because this was her challenge and she is a teacher! :) You can take a look at #11 Challenge here!
I LOVE the Uni ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen! It is the best of all 20 million white gel pens I have tried...OK not that many but ALOT...really! That faux stitching is so much fun! OK I am off to clean my messy house! And laundry....does it ever end?
Thanks for stopping by today!
Oh Laurie I love this ........ and if you make the spine about a 1/4 thick then this would make the cutest little notebook ever for a gift~~ you know the notepads from PTI, can't you just see them in there. Oh well I have had too much tea so my fingers are doing all the talking because Ava does not answer back when I ask her a million questions this early :) Where did you get that Uni Ball Signo ........ I keep looking and looking at all art stores NOTHING .... do i have to buy on line ?? I HATE to pay shipping for 2 pens. Have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic Laurie! Any teacher who received this would be super happy! I too love that get pen...it always performs!
ReplyDeleteLaundry never ends - unless you're naked while doing it. ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree about the white pen - love that brand. And that faux stitching is just the perfect touch! I haven't used my Library Ledger paper as much as I had hoped to yet but you've given me some inspiration, Laurie.
This is totally cute! The tall and skinny design is fun and different, and you've used the perfect elements for a teacher card!
ReplyDeleteLove this, Laurie!! Great colors!
ReplyDeleteOh, and everday I wish for a laundry fairy.....but my wish never comes true!
Very cute! ITA with the Uniball Signo Broad, it's the best white pen there is.
ReplyDeleteUGH, laundry I feel your pain. There is only two of us so I have no idea how it multiplies like it does.
That's so cute! It is PERFECT for a teacher I love the size of it, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great teacher card Laurie. It would make cute notepads too! I'd be lost without my signo pens..had a box of them for many years now...they ARE the best.
ReplyDeleteOh, and no. I don't think laundry ever ends...
ReplyDeleteFabulous teacher card Laurie. Love the faux stitching...I have a signo pen but mine doesn't say 'broad'. Where do you get that size?
ReplyDeleteI love this Laurie, SO CUTE! And like I once heard someone say, the only people who don't have to do laundry are the naked and the dead lol!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I love the red paired with the SC green!! Such a good teacher color combo! Fresh! Love the ruffles in the middle of the card too rather than toward the bottom like usual!
ReplyDeleteLooks great, Laurie!! I'm behind on the PD challenges too, so you're certainly not alone! Love this color combo.
ReplyDeleteI love this supper tall card chick!! Your friend will love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is really beautiful!! I just love these two colors together!! awesome job!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I feel like I have tried thousands of white gel pens, too. I agree that Uni Ball Signo is the best!
ReplyDeleteVery cute tall and skinny card!! Is that simply chartreuse paper? I like your little row of apples and of course your scallops!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! Love the school theme of it. I'll have to check out the Paper Doll challenges. They look like fun!
ReplyDeleteOh and I wanted to let you know I bought so Divine Twine today! Thanks for the heads up. :)
Thanks for the gel pen tip! I'm "okay" with the one I use now but dislike the occasional "globbing." Even the Inkssentials one was disappointing. Will have to keep my eye out for this one!
ReplyDeleteSo if you're 'seriously behind'...where does that leave me? ;) And no, the laundry doesn't ever end. My trick is to put it on DH's side of the bed so he'll fold it so he can have a place to sleep. He's great that way. I love this card...love how the faux stitching combines so well with the ribbon!
ReplyDeleteToo cute, Laurie! Wouldn't this make the most perfect notebook too? Makes me wish I had a teacher to make one for!
