Michele’s 50th Birthday Blog Hop Bash...

Today is a pretty fun day over at Cas-ual Fridays!  Today starts the celebration for Michele's 50th Birthday!  I am joining in with a group of amazing women to do a little partying.  If you are falling along on the hop, you have come here from the sweet, Shona Chambers' blog.  You can stop by the Cas-ual Fridays blog to see a fun list of stops on the hop.  

Cas-ual Fridays started as a Challenge blog so many years ago and I was so lucky to be on the design team.  And then one day, Michele started designing stamps and I was so honored to be on her first stamp team!  I am really happy to be here today to be able to say Happy Birthday to my sweet friend! 

Michele, here is a birthday card for you!

When I saw these little chicks, I fell in love!  They are so adorable and make for a quick, clean and simple card.  This card was so easy to create.  I lined a white card base with this fun, colorful pattern paper.  Next, I lined up the chicks in my Misti and stamped the perfectly centered chicks.  I masked off the sentiment and stamped it in 3 pieces so it would fit next to the main image.

Last, I kept the chicks simple and white so they would stand out on the colorful cardstock.  I popped them up on foam tape for some dimension.

Welcome to the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

Here is my card for this week!  I love love the CAS-ual Friday set called Snowflake Greetings.  This sentiment is just too cute for this frosty snowflake cards.  

I used a couple of Simon Says snowflake dies in the background and then added in that adorable sentiment on a banner.  I tucked a piece of gray striped paper behind the banner just for a little extra something.  :)  It's so hard to see in my picture, but there is little bits of Wink of Stella on the snowflakes too.

Hey there!  I have 3 quick sneaks for you today on this last day of previews for CAS-ual Fridays.  Today's sets are background sets and would be super fun to add to your crafting stash!

This first card, I masked the background and stamped the dashed chevron in Aqua Mist ink.  I added in a gray thank u and some sequins for a little bling.



For this tag, I stamped in white ink on kraft and then added in a sentiment and some rose buds.  

And last, a quick little mini with this fun houndstooth background.  Super quick and easy!

I have a fun little card to share today using a new CFS stamp set called Tech Talk....



I simply stamped this fun little sentiment in white and added a popped up heart after running the whole thing through with an impression plate.  Easy peasy!

I'm back with another peak today!  This set is a fun one called Brickworks.  It has several brick patterns and of course....I had to make a brick wall...just in time for Father's day!



So eash to line up.  I just stamped the image using Red Brick Versamagic.  I added in a little grass border and then a sentiment from another set coming soon!  :)

Frankly my dear...

Welcome to day 1 of sneaks over at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.  Today's set is called, Frankly my dear.  Here is my card...



I added in some fun papers from the BG Hipsters 6x6 pack.  I stamped the sentiment from this fun new set, in Provincial Gray from Fresh Ink.  I added in a little ribbon/button detail to finish!

Fantastic!!

I am super late today for my CAS-ual Fridays post!  I have a card using a couple of fun sets!  This card does really wrap up the day I've had for sure!  Waking up to no internet and this post not posting when it was supposed to!  :)  But everything is fantastic...even though I'm late!  :)

I used a border stamp from Countdown for the background.  Then I added in a sentiment from Truth Is.   I finished it off with 2 little rose buds.

A CAS-ual Fridays Birthday Wish!

The Ink Squad is having a little birthday hop for my friend, Michele!  She is our fearless leader and creator of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  I have a CAS little card here for her today using the color Red.  (See more about that below....) 

There are 8 of us on this hop today and we have each taken a letter and are making a card with a color that starts with the letter....

Red is my favorite so I am thrilled to send Michele birthday wishes using this color and some stripes today!  I cut out 1/2" strips and then glued them down.  I used a sentiment from WTF and then added in a little button and white twine.

One more day of sneaks for CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.  I have one quick card to share today!



I scored a diagonal score using my Scor-Pal at the 1/2" mark.  Then I cut 3 pieces of card stock and stamped the sentiment on the white one.  I attached each piece with foam tape.   There are lots more funs sentiments to see in this set!  Go check out the CAS-ual Fridays Blog for more sneaks!  Don't forget to see how you can win a prize took!  :)

Ready for some more Sneaks?  Today CAS-ual Fridays is sharing Mums the Word.  I have 3 cards to share using images from this set...

A card with some fun triangle detail and a great sentiment perfect for any guy!

I stamped off these flowers so they would be nice and light and then added in the black sentiment so it would pop!

And a CAS card.  I added in the banner and some bling to finish it off!

It's the start of some fun sneak peeks over at CAS-ual Fridays.  I am here with one for a new set called Stop.  

This set includes several fun sentiments and some great design elements.  I stamped this border stamp in white ink on this gray card base.  I added in a sentiment in black and some black pearls and silver rhinestones to finish it off.

Epic birthday card...

Hey there!  I have a fun little birthday card for you today. CAS-ual Fridays has a great set with some catchy sentiments.  It's called Rad.  And it is rad!  :)



I stamped the background image in black and then added in the matted sentiment to finish it off.  I colored in the "epic" with a Copic marker to add a little more red to the card.

I hope your week is going well! I have lots going on around here with the kiddos.  Just a few more weeks of school and we are out for the summer!  It was 70 here today and we are supposed to have snow on Wednesday!  Oy!  Can't wait for summer!!
