I have 2 cards to share using the same technique and a quick video below to show how I did it. Basically, I stamped the background image from the kit on black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Using the landscape dies from the kit, I created this mountain scene. I used the Hero Arts Infinity Squares to create a polaroid look and then stamped the sentiment.
For this card, I used the Hero Arts Infinity Circles to give it a different look...
I popped up the light house on pop dots for dimension and then added a simple sentiment from one of the add-on stamp set from this month, Color Layering Howling Wolf Stamp Set.
To achieve the color in the background, I used Copic markers very lightly. Disclaimer....Alcohol Markers break down the embossing powder and it collects in the nib of your marker. I have found that using the chisel end works for me because I don't use that end for anything else. I also scribble off on scratch paper after I am done to remove some of the embossing powder.
Here is a quick video sharing today's cards!
Each month, Hero Arts has a list of add-ons for the kit that are avail for purchase also.
