Altenew is releasing a new Build-A-Flower today. The Columbine! This flower is the state flower of my native state of Colorado. I always loved seeing these growing wild in the mountains. So now, I am totally loving this gorgeous stamp set!
Check it out....
Here is today's card....
I inked up an acrylic block and added a little water and then stamped it down to create the background. I used some of that same water with a little more of that lavender fields ink to add in the splatter.
Using Bamboo ink, I stamped in the stems directly on the card base and also added in the sentiment in Obsidian Black Ink. To finish off the card, I inked up the Columbines and leaves and then die cut them with their coordinating dies. I added the blooms to the card front with foam tape.
