Farm Fresh Kit Release!

Today is an EXCITING day at Taylored Expressions!  There is a new kit available and you guys.....its so stinkin' cute!

The Farm Fresh Kit is available now and includes 2 adorable stamp sets, a die set, a background stamp, Grass Stencil Strips, Wobble Springs, Envelops, super cute stickers all in a zippered case!

I have LOTS of projects today!  The little farm animals are interactive with the little Wobble Springs to create adorable little bobbles heads.

To create this card, I added a little TE Cloud Stencil on a white card panel.  Next, I used the new Grass Stencil Strips to add in grass along the bottom edge.  I stamped and colored the fence on the card panel and then added in the barn popped up on foam tape.  I added some light grays and pinks to the cow and popped it up with foam tape too.  Adding the little bobble head is so easy with the Wobble Springs.  I finished the card off with cloud dies and a sentiment up in the sky!

I wanted to make a quick and simple card with a little circle rainbow die cut with a stack of circle dies.  I popped the little bobble head up on the card front and finished it off with a sentiment.  Quick and simple!

This card uses the Grass Stencils, topped off with the barn and a sentiment.  I colored and die cut that cute little chick and added the Wobble Spring in for the bobble head.  I added the card front to a black card base to finish it off!

Last, card was super easy.  I colored all 4 critters and die cut them.  I added them all to the card front along with the Wobble Springs.  Love that fun little interactive detail.  I stamped the sentiment a little off center to finish off the card.

The Greetery Re-Stock!

I have a card to share today using the Pinwheel Party Bundle....

There are 4 stencils to use to create this fantastic one layer design.  They are super easy to line up and allow for any color combination you can dream up!  I added the pinwheel mask in and added a light ombre look with Altenew's Mountain Mist faded out into white space.  All the inks I used on the Pinwheel's are linked below in my supply list.

I scored the card with a 1/2" frame and then stamped the sentiment in Obsidian Black Ink.  To finish the card, I added the heat embossed "and celebrate you!" popped up on foam tape.  I also added in some clear sequins for some shine!

Simon Says Stamp Send Happiness Blog Hop - Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Send Happiness Blog Hop!  The Send Happiness Release is fill full of amazing new products that are so fun to work with.  Be sure to check out Day 1 of the hop for LOTS of inspiration!

Let's get started...

This first card was so much fun to make.  Growing up, my family raised Boston Terriors so I always love Boston stamps and dies.  To create this card, I masked off the card front and blended in some Altenew ink for the perfect rainbow.  Next, I used the SSS Thank You Text Background stamp with black ink inside that masked area.  I removed the masking tape for the perfect framed background.

I popped up Simon's Oh, hello there sentiment die on black fun foam and then added in that adorable Lil Critters Boston Die.  I finished it off with a little heart and some Glossy Accents on his eyes and heart.

This next card showcases the new CZ Design set, Happy Days.

To create this card, I heat embossed the Happy image on several rainbow pieces of cardstock and cut them at 1" strips.  I added each piece to a white A2 card using foam tape.  

Last, I heat embossed the "you make me so happy" sentiment on black cardstock and added that to the card front with foam tape for some dimension.

One last project today using the new set called Be a Mermaid and the Mermaid Stencil.

Using the Mermaid Stencil, I added in some glazed and glitter for the mermaid tail effect.  I die cut a circle out of the stenciled background once it was dry and added it to the card front with foam tape.

I heat embossed the sentiment and popped it up with foam tape and then tucked in a few of the small details from the stamp set.  I added the bubble image along the side and then glued down some clear drops that fit perfectly on each bubble.

Altenew + Pinkfresh Studio “Celebrate” Collaboration Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends!  Today is a FUN day at Altenew!  We are joining up with our friends at Pinkfresh with an awesome collaboration of stamps and dies and patterned papers and more!

I have a couple projects to share with you today but if you keep scrolling, you will see the AWESOME prizes that will be given away, as well as a full list of stops on today's hop!

Here is my first project....

This card is made up of patterned paper and fun little details from the Ephemera Pack.  The papers in the pack are just gorgeous.  I picked out this ombre piece and added it to a card base.

I found this beautiful black and white flower image, along with this hello and knew the combination would be great together.  I added them to the card front with foam tape and this finished it off with some clear drops.  Super simple!  I love that all these details were ready to go for a quick card!

This next card showcases the new set called Celebrate today.

I added another piece of polka dot patterned paper to a care base.  After stamping the floral image from the set, I die cut it with its coordinating dies.  I popped it up on foam tape and then stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the card.

I found my old Pebbles Chalks and added a little bit of color to the blooms and then finished the card off with some clear drops
