I am hopping along with the girls at Pretty Pink Posh today for the May Product Release Hop. As usual, Paulina has so many adorable new stamps and dies available this month. I have a couple cards using some of the new products!
This first card showcases the new Hugs Shaker Die and the new Sparkling Clear Jewels. I created a shaker box with fun foam and added in the jewels on top of a rainbow patterned paper background. I added in some strips of black and sparkles paper to add a little detail to the card base.
These new jewels are so gorgeous!
For this net card, I took 3 different sized butterflies from the Butterfly Friends Stamp set....
...and create a black and white background. I added color onto the card by doing some ink blending on a piece of cardstock and then cutting out the hugs die. I first layered the scalloped piece onto the card base, and then popped the hugs portion of the die cut up on foam tape.

Wonderful cards!! I love how you did the butterflies on the second one just black on the white background with the color in the center of the card. Poor eyesight makes it difficult for me to color stamped images and I'm always looking for ideas to still make colorful cards that look pretty like yours does!!!

ReplyDeleteOoo, I love these cards. The clear hearts on the rainbow paper is such a fantastic and interesting look, but it doesn't distract from the shaker, which can be hard for me. And then the bright color on the black and white is always a fabulous look. Thanks for sharing some great ideas!
