I had to bust out some more glitter paper. At this rate, I'll be out soon. I have come to terms with the hoarding problem.....I can go back to Hobby Lobby and get more. Geez, why didn't I think of that sooner! Look at how fun this glittery sentiment is...it totally worth using it up....
So first, I cut that super sentiment with the Simon Says Merry Christmas die. Then I ran the sentiment through my little Xyron to turn it into a sticker. I learned about this in the Summer Card Class, and I have found that this really is the easiest way to adhere these fun little dies to your card. And so easy! If you don't have one, get one! And grab a refill too. I didn't. And now I need a refill. :) (You can find a link to these in my supply list below)
I used the diagonal SSS stencil to sponge in this fun candy cane stripe. I added in the most adorable tree with the Bright and Merry Tree stamp set and dies. Oh and then I corner chomped the one corner. Do you have a corner chomper? In my opinion....a must have for your tool set! :)
The kids are out of school today, so I am taking them on a little road trip. They are so excited they can hardly wait. That means....I better get gone! Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous, I get it about using supplies instead of hoarding TFS!
ReplyDeleteLove that glittery sentiment Laurie! Great to see the stunning results you're getting from using your stash!
ReplyDelete/so glad I'm not the only one who does this with glitter paper hehehe!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ...go back to Hobby Lobby, you're so funny! And you are rockin the red glitter paper girl, you NEED more!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeletewow this is stunning..
ReplyDeleteGlitter and Christmas just go together, don't they?! This is a really great Christmas card. Happy and a fun design. Love it. Bev
ReplyDeleteHoarding...none of us hoard, do we?? I can't believe how much paper that I have that I just haven't used because I might need it for something else - and now I look at it and it's old and dated! Of course, glitter red is not going to get old and out-of-date - so you MUST keep using it to create these fun cards!!
ReplyDeletehaha! Paper hoarder here too! You are rockin' the glitter though so please keep using it. ;) Love this card and LOVE my corner chomper.
ReplyDeleteTotally cute card. And I just so happen to have a glitter paper addiction, myself! LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh so fun!!! You've got my fave Christmas colour combo, pattern and sparkles on this adorable card. LOVE! :)
ReplyDeleteMy strategy is to buy paper in packs of 25 from my local discount store ... then I don't feel at all bad about using it! Hahaha. But then there's the whole space issue ...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, love your light and bright Christmas card. Very worthy of your glitter paper!
