Welcome to another round of Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge! This week's theme is a fun one! Check out this inspiration photo....
And here is my take....
I used a Verve set that is FABULOUS for school themed. It's a must have people! Seriously! Click HERE to see Teacher's Count. (It's on sale right now too...just sayin'!)
I am just a tad excited about the apple. I watched the most amazing video from Kristina Werner about coloring an image without the stamp lines visible. Well...I tried it. I have to say, it's obviously not even close to perfect. But I think that is why I like it. The lines are a little messy, but it gives the image a whole new look! I am not usually into coloring...but Kristina's videos are helping me learn to love it for sure! She is a great teacher! (And thanks to Elena for pointing out the video for me!)
For the chalkboard, I took some black cardstock and used a makeup sponge to add some chalk dust into the background. I heat embossed this amazing sentiment onto the cardstock and then added in a little frame of brown cardstock. I ran the actual card base throught with the Linen IP for a little texture.
That's it for today! Check out the Curtain Call blog to see the other back to school creations and check out the prize from The Alley Way Stamps, this week's sponsor.
