For this last PTI release, me and my friend Jen, decided to order together. We both had small lists so I added her stuff to my cart. She had the Take 3 die on her list. I don't have any of those Take 3 sets, so I never really looked at the die. Until now. She made me do it really. I changed the quantity in my cart to 2. I'm pretty happy I did that. And that she made me! :) Here is a quick card with the one stamp set I purchased this month and the new Berry Sorbet ink. Can you see how great the ink and cardstock match? I love it!
I used the die on the card base first and then on the Berry Sorbet cardstock, lining it up and then cutting the excess. Then I ran it through with a Sizzix embossing folder.
I used the new Flower Fusion Die and set to make these flowers. This is my first Flower Fusion purchase and I would have to say my favorite. I. love. that. plaid. flower. So cute with the button center!
The other color is Hawaiian Shores ink. These colors are really fun together I think! And here is a quick shot of the inside...
I have one of the little PTI Thank You stamp sets to giveaway. It's been forever since I've given anything out! And due time I think! Become a "blog friend" over on the side bar... if you aren't already and leave me a comment! I'll pick a winner on Wednesday, January 25th.
That's it for today! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
Wow I love the card! I've seen PTI bits & pieces around blogland but always held off ordering as their postage charges terrify me- must look into finding a PTI 'buddy' hehe

Laurie! I love it! The ink looks awesome and I love the Sizzix folder that you used too! I have a TY set, so if I do win please gift it to someone else. :)
ReplyDeleteCute and happy card! I like that plaid flower too and hope to order it at some point!
ReplyDeleteThis card has the WOW factor for sure! The colors are so yummy!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that die great! I love the TT:Winter set just for that little flourish. It is so perfect with the cut outs from the die. I am not enabling...just suggesting :).
ReplyDeleteLove the plaid flower too. I ordered 2 sets and this is one of them :).
If I win the other set offer it to someone else, I already have one.
I was going to place a PTI order soon, this die might just have to go in it. I don't often place with them, but I have a few gift certificates. Do you like that Hawaiian shores better than the Aqua Mist? I have no ink or paper from them and wanted to try out a bit. Oh, and your card is amazing, of course. So purely clean and simple and gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Enabled!! I don't have any of the Take 3 stamp sets either, but that die is just too versatile! I loved seeing this card in person and was happily shocked at how well the cardstock and ink matched! This is really pretty and so cute!

Ha! Y'know I've just been eyeing up that die myself (I don't own the coordinating set either!) and now you've sold it to me with this fabby card!

Hugs!

Amazing card! So fresh and pretty and just what my eyes needed to see with all the winterish landscape around here. Not that our temps would tell you it's winter (76 yesterday!) but bare trees, brown grass and overcast skies give it away. Thank you for such a sweet card and now I'm off to see if PTI still has any take 3 dies in stock!!:)
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, Laurie! I just placed a PTI order for cardstock and ink, so I loved seeing the Berry Sorbet and Hawaiian Shores colors. I've ordered them both!
