Saddle Stitch Ribbon Flower Tutorial

This is my second post for today!  Scroll down to see our Flutterby Friend Mini Blog Hop!

Ok, I did something I have never done before.  Lets first read this disclaimer.

1. I sound funny!
2. I have no idea how to edit videos.
3. I barely know how to use the video function on my camera so its kinda blury!
4. I sound funny. (Edit to say it's really that I sound funny to myself!  Like Jen commented...I really do sound like me!  My sister says we have an inside voice and an outside voice.  My inside voice sounds nothing like my outside voice.  LOL!)

Ok so here's the deal....I had lots of emails and tutorial requests for the flower on this card.....

So here goes. Please don't laugh. :)

Just incase this video doesn't work for you, here is the You Tube link....

And I do remember saying I would never make a video...so here I am eating my words!  I hope you like it!  if you make a flower send me a link!

Have a great day!

  5. My thoughts exactly Keva - I'm off to find my saddlestitch! Great job Laurie. Oh and is that a light box type set up you have? Keep wondering whether to try one of those now we are heading for the grey dull days of autumn I find taking pictures really hard.

  6. Thanks so much for the video tutorial, Laurie! I was wondering how you did that flower. How cool!

And I know what you mean about your own voice sounding funny to yourself. When I hear my voice recorded, it's sounds strange to me too, haha.

Hope to see more videos! They are great!

  9. It's always nice to put a voice to a face even though I don't think any of us like the sound of our own voices you sound great ( your voice reminds me a little of Nicole Heady's voice)
Great video, I hope we see more in the future!

I will admit that you don't sound at ALL what I hear in my head when I read your words, but you definitely don't sound "weird" or anything.
