Altenew January 2019 Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop

Hi there crafty friends!  Today I am joining in on the Altenew hop showcasing the newest Watercolor Brush Markers.  The new brush markers have the perfect rainbow of color for your crafty projects. I am not a pro at watercoloring but the brush tip and the color in these markers made it super easy to color up some little blooms.  Here are some more details about them....

Create stunning works of art with our Watercolor Brush Markers! The barrel is filled with water-based color, and coordinates with our line of inks. The flexible, yet sturdy bristles on the brush tip allow you to form both broad and fine strokes. Color can be applied straight from the marker, or diluted with water for a softer look.

There are definitely a good variety of colors in this pack.  I used several of them to do a little coloring....

Altenew

To create this clean and simple card, I grabbed a light gray card base and added some silver glitter washi to the side of the card.  I heat embossed one of the images from Ruffled Flowers on some watercolor paper.  It was so easy to add color with these new brushes.  I popped the die cut up with some foam tape and then stamped the thinking of you sentiment right below.

Altenew

Altenew is offering several different bundles with the Watercolor Brushes included.  Some bundles have paper and brushes, there is an embossing bundle and even a bundle with both Watercolor Brush sets included.  Bundles are definitely a good way to save a few dollars.  Click these links below to check them out....

MFT and Friends...

The day is finally here!  Release day over at My Favorite Things!  The MFT Design Team and some MFT Friends are all here today with one last day of projects using the new January products!

I created a wine tag for a party and I had to share it with you!  This is the new Mondo Cheers Die....

Print

First, I die cut the MFT Wine Tag in white card stock.  I stamped the Radiating Halftone Background stamp along the bottom of the tag.

Next, I die cut the wine tag again in black card stock.  I cut a 1/2" strip off the bottom of the black wine tag along with another 3/4" strips.  By using the actual wine tag to cut strips from, they line up on the wine tag just perfectly.  Last, I die cut the Mondo Cheers die in the Gold Glitter Card stock.  I attached to the tag and then finished off the gift with some black ribbon.

This is the easiest little detail to add to your hostess gift.  I hope you enjoyed my project today.  Head on over to the MFT Blog to see the line up of crafty friends who will have more to share!

Thanks so much for coming by today!

MFT January Countdown Day 1...

Today is the last day of the Release Countdown.  The MFT Release will be live and ready to shop tomorrow, Tuesday, January 8th at 9am CST.  I have one last countdown project to share.  I made a treat bag today that features the new die called Friendly Fox.  This die is SOOO adorable!

Check it out...

January 2019 MFT

I grabbed some orange cardstock and the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Background Stamp and stamped it in white ink.  Next, I ran the orange cardstock through with the dies to create the fox body.  Next, I die cut the small pieces in white and black.  I added them all together to create this adorable fox.  I heat embossed the sentiment, from the new Sassy Pants set,  on the bag in white embossing powder.  I added a little heart die cut to the tail and covered it in Glossy Accents.

MFT Release

To finish off the treat bag, I filled it full of chocolate and then closed it shut with a little bit of ribbon and a staple.  Easy peasy!

MFT Release

I can't wait to see all the Friendly Fox projects today.  There will be lots more to see over on the MFT Blog, plus a list of stops to check out for the last day of peeks.

Remember, everything you've seen this week will be available tomorrow on Release Day!

Thanks so much for stopping in today!  Have a great day!

MFT January Countdown Day 2...

Are you loving all the sneak peeks you have seen so far?  This latest MFT Release is so much fun!  Release day is Tuesday, so there are 2 more days of peeks before you will be able to shop.

I have another clean and simple card to share using, what might be my new favoritist die.  :) Hearts Entwined Die-namics.  I love this die so much and I created another simple card using white with some splashes of pink and red...

January 2019 MFT

To create this card, I die cut the Hearts Entwined Die 4 times in white card stock.  I used the little negative pieces and colored the up with Copic markers and then tucked them down back inside the heart die.  I added in several tiny heart die cuts from the Tag builders 5 die set.  The sentiment comes from the Sweet Celebration Stamp set.  I heat embossed it and added it to the front of the card.

January 2019 MFT

There is one more day of the release countdown and then everything you have seen this week will be available on Tuesday for purchase.  I hope you have enjoyed today's peek here on my blog.  Come back tomorrow for one more sneak!

Have a great day!
