MFT August Countdown Day 3...

Hi and welcome to Day 3 of the MFT August Release Countdown!  Thanks so much for coming by today!  I have a fun little peek today using 2 new products that will be available on Tuesday, August 7th at 8pm CST.

This card uses the new miss you die along with an adorable cat from the new set called Cute Cats....

I kept this clean and simple but stamping the cat in a light brown Memento ink and then doing a little no-line coloring.  I die cut the miss you in fun foam and again in white card stock for a sentiment with some dimension.  To finish off this card, I added a tiny little heart die cut to the cat.  I love the tiny pop of color.  Tag Builder 5 die set has the best row of tiny little hearts.  I use them on all the projects!  :)

Stop over to the MFT blog to learn more about this release.

Thanks for stopping in today!  Have a great day!

MFT August Release Countdown Day 4...

Happy release countdown day 4!  :)  Today we are sharing several new sneak peeks of some amazing stamps and dies for MFT's August Release.  So there is this new die....that i love love love!!

Here it is....

To create this card, I used the new Puzzle Cover-up die and instead of cutting out all the pieces, I used it to dry emboss my card front.  I love the possibilities with this die!!  I added the embossed panel to a card base with fun foam for some dimension.  Then I cut out the center puzzle piece and added the sentiment.  I took a tiny die cut heart and added that to the puzzle piece too.  My CAS, white space loving heart is swooning over this die!  :)

You can see lots more sneak peeks of the latest August release over on the MFT Blog.

Remember....

So glad you stopped in today!  Have a great day!

I did a little background stamping with the stars in the set, then I added some simple strips of that amazing silver glitter card stock.  Next, I colored up this adorable little singer and added her on to the card.  Last, I heat embossed the sentiment that goes along so perfectly!

So this month's dies come with several dies including 3 adorable birds and some greenery....

To create this card, I die cut the birds and the vines all in white cardstock.  I used Copics to add in the coloring and shading.  I used glue in a few select spots on the back of the greenery so I could have some of the leaves and vines stand out.  I stamped the Thank You sentiment in black ink. Next, I used foam tape to add the birds to the card front.  I finished off the card with black liquid enamel dots.

MFT Sketch Challenge 396...

Welcome to another round of the Wednesday Sketch Challenge at MFT!  Today's sketch is definitely a fun one with so many possibilities.

Here is my card...

I kept the background layers of the sketch in white and then popped up the Blu Raspberry stitched panel in the center.  I used the Stitched Rectangle STAX to cut out those panels.  Next, I added in the Happy Birthday Candle Die.  I cut a little strip of paper to create a banner and added in the sentiment.

Here is this weeks sketch....

Head on over to the MFT Challenge blog to learn more about today's sketch.  I hope you can play along!  Thanks for stopping in!
