Pretty Pink Posh: May Blog Hop...

I am really excited to join in for the Pretty Pink Posh May Blog Hop!  Paulina was among my first crafty friends way back with my first design team, DeNami.  It has been so much fun to watch her grow her own amazing business and come out with adorable products that we all love to use!  For a full list of stops on the hops, scroll down....

I have 2 projects to share today.  This first card uses the set called Woodland Critters and the coordinating dies.

I layered the Scalloped Hexagon Dies on a patterned paper covered card base.  I added in the dear from the Critter sets, along with some flowers, leaves and the little butterfly, all colored with Copics.  Last, I added in some dew drops to finish of the card.

This next card features the Scalloped Hexagon Dies and the beautiful sentiment set called, Thoughtful Greetings.  For this card, I heat embossed the sentiment from Thoughtful Greetings.  Next, I blended up a ombre background and the layered the front with the largest scalloped hexagon frames.  I layered the whole card front onto a white card base so I could frame the whole thing with a little white edge.

Hey crafty friends!  I am stopping in with quick and easy card that packs a punch.  I used several Simon Says Stamp goodies on this card today....

Here is how I made the card.... (all supplies linked below)

  1. I took a piece of Doll Pink Simon Says Stamp Cardstock and create the card base.
  2. I used Red Current Fresh Ink to stamp the Elizabeth background.
  3. Using my ink blender, I blending the red ink up from the corner of the card.
  4. I layered a piece of silver glitter washi along the bottom of the card.
  5. I used my tweezers and spray adhesive to add in the "best day ever" sentiment.
Easy peasy!

I love the blend of pink and red together.  Such a bright and happy card.  I think it would work well for a wedding card!
