The Greetery - Calico Fields Day 1...

Welcome to The Greetery's latest release reveal!  Day 1 of Calico Fields is sure to make you smile.  The detail that Betsy includes in the stamp sets, dies and stencils is always amazing and you will love what you see over the next 2 days. The full release will go live on Thursday, September 8th at 10amEDT.  I will be doing a live over on The Greetery's Instagram on Wednesday at 11am CST so stop by and say hi!

I have 3 projects to share today with fun, fall flare...and one Christmas creation.  At the end of the post there will be links to each of the Design Team blogs.  Be sure to leave a comment on each one for more chances to win 1 of 2, $50 gift cards to be given away to The Greetery Shop!

The first card I made is a clean and simple card using the new Jumbo Curiosity Buckeye die.  I masked off a white card base, added in a little fall coloring by ink blending inside a masked area.  I added the white buckeye die cut to the card front with foam tape and then stamped the sentiment from Fall Foliage.

The Greetery

This next card is not my usual quick and easy.  LOL!  I used multiple sets to get a fun little fall scene.  First up I scored a cream card base at 1/2".  Using the new Print Shop: Calico, Windowpane Plaid Background Stamp and the Patchwork Die, I created a fun little table cloth that I added to the bottom of the card.  Next, I built the little Bushel Basket Die after adding in some shading.  I filled the basket with apples from the new BotaniCuts: Apple Dies.  I grabbed a couple older Greetery products, BontaniCuts: Sunflower Dies and the Just Mason Around Stamp set.  The cut little fall scene needs some flowers!  :). I used Bittersweet Bouquet Stamp Set to add in the Autumn Sentiment.

The Greetery

On this last card I used the Ornament Box Top Vertical Rubber Stamp to create a chalkboard effect by stamping white ink on back cardstock.  I added in some white paint mist and a spray of glitter.  Next, I stamped the bouquet in the With Love at Christmas Stamp Set.  I layered the bouquet on a Crimped Circle die cut out in red cardstock.   To finish off the card, I used the new stamp set called Warm and Wonderful. This adorable new stamp set is full of fun little details to add to a warm cuppa.  You could make it coffee, tea, hot cocoa or any fun little holiday drink!

A little info about commenting here on my blog....

My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam.  The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out.  If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok!  I will see it and I will get it posted for you.

The other issue is wether or not you need a google account.  I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain.  If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner!  I am sorry for the annoyance.  I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should.  I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again... Blogger is a pain.
