Leaf and Blade Collection Day 1 {The Greetery}...

The Greetery has an amazing release coming this Friday!  Over the next 2 days, we will share all the details and show you all the new products in the fall feel, Leaf and Blade Collection

In the Botanicuts line, there is a new set of dies called Gingko Dies.  They are prefect, just in time for fall!

The Greetery

To create this card, I masked off the top of the card (yes I do this a lot and I can't stop!!) and added in some soft yellow ink.  I love how it give a partial frame to the main image.  Next, I stamped Autumn is in the air, from the Fall Foliage Stamp Set (to be announced tomorrow) along the bottom of the card.  I die cut one Gingko branch in orange card stock and one in green. Using Copic markers, I added some color and detail to the leaves and stems. Next, I added in some white paint splatter and some shimmer to the stems.  I added them to the card with liquid glue to finish off the card.

The Greetery

This next card showcases the Layered Leaves Stamp and Die Set, as well as the Grace upon Grace Stamp Set....

The Greetery

To create this card, I used last month's Deco Triangle Hot Foil Plate on green cardstock with Copper Foil. Love the fall colors that worked so well with my stamped out Layered Leaved die cut.  I stamped the Grace upon Grace sentiment on white cardstock and added that to the card front.  Super simple to create!

The Greetery

My last card was made with the new Pampas Grass Stamp Set, Let's Have a Word: Autumn Die Set and the Botanicuts Wheat Die Set.  I also threw in some past favorites....Just Mason Around and the Bontaincuts Sunflower Dies.

The Greetery

Oops, I did it again!  Another masked framed area with a touch of blue.  I grabbed the mason jar already stamped out in my pile of "to use next time" images and begin building this little fall scene.  The Pampas Grass and the Wheat die cuts were so easy to put together and tuck in the jar. Next, I layered up those gorgeous sunflowers and added them to the side.  Last was the gold foil Autumn Die cut and a heat embossed sentiment.  This was not so quick and simple....my usual....but it was so much fun to put together!

The Greetery

See the full release HERE....the link will be live with the release on Friday at 10am EDT.

So glad you stopped in today!  Here is the full line up for today's stops.  I know the rest of the team will have some amazing things to see!  Remember everything you see today and tomorrow, will be available on Friday, September 10th @ 10am EDT.

Also, I will be doing a "special edition" IG Live over at the Greetery on Thursday, September 9th at 11am CST.   I will be crafting with friends and I hope to see you there!

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!

Have a great day!
