Hello! Welcome to the March 2020 Washi Release Hop! Today Altenew is releasing several gorgeous new rolls of Washi Tape that are so perfect for card making, scrapbooking and really any crafty project. The tapes very in size and width, not to mention prints and colors.
I have 2 clean and simple projects to share today. Keep scrolling to see what those and check out the prizes, along with the full Washi Release Hop list.
Let's get started!
The gray and white background you see here is a large roll of washi called Marsh Land. I love the simple look and knew it would make a gorgeous background. I added the washi to a piece of white cardstock using the technique I shared in THIS video.
Using the Pure Gold Washi, I added the largest size and the smallest size to add lines to the bottom of my card. I die cut the Framed Congrats Die in black cardstock and added that to my card front to finish off the card.
There is a new bundle of washi tapes called Summer Days Washi Tapes. This new bundle has 5 sets of colors that coordinate with Altenew's ink colors. I used 3 of them to create this rainbow card....
To create this look I used:
As you can see this is just reds/pinks, yellows/oranges and blues. The awesome thing about these tapes is that they are slightly translucent. For the green stripe, I added a piece of blue wash tape first and then layered a piece of yellow wash tape and was able to get the green color at the bottom of this rainbow card.
Next, I cut the rainbow panel down and added it to a white card front with fun foam. I stamped and cut sentiment from Altenew's Crafty Friends Stamp Set12q and added those to my card.
Check out all the gorgeous new Washi. Click HERE to see the full Washi Release Bundle.
