MFT June Card Kit Day 1...

Hello crafty friends!  Today is the day so many have been waiting for!  The MFT June Kit countdown!

This months card is so gorgeous.  Here are the details...

The Flowers in Bloom Card Kit includes the following products:
Flowers in Bloom Stamp Set
Flowers in Bloom Die-namics
Flower Fresh Color Burst Trio
Ken Oliver Watercolor Paper (4 Sheets)
Card Stock - Smooth White (1), Black Licorice (1), Tropical Teal (1), Coral Crush (1), Jellybean Green (1)

This kit is perfect for watercoloring but I had to come out of the gate sharing a clean and simple card.

I simply stamped the flower image, then die cut the flowers.  I ran the die cut through a 2nd time with fun foam.  I attached the flower image to the fun foam die cut and then added it to a card base covered with striped patterned paper.  Next, I stamped one of the sentiments included.....love that handwritten hello!  I added 3 black pearls to finish off the card.

  1. Beautiful Flowers In Bloom creation! Amazing how striking the white blooms are on the gray background!

  2. Love your card! I seem to always forget that it can be just as effective to NOT color in images. Thank you for the reminder!

  3. Makes a great statement on the striped background. These flowers are so wonderful.

  4. The background is so befitting of the uncolored focal image of the very gorgeous flowers.

  5. Like this clean and simple style. The white flowers still stand out because of the striped background paper.

  6. Simple yet striking! Fabulous card Laurie!

  7. Gorgeous and simple. Love the use of foam for dimension.

  8. Your card is fantastic, Laurie! The black & white is so elegant.
