All the hearts...

Hello there!  It's Laurie Willison here with a couple of clean and simple Valentines cards.  If you follow my blog, you know I love white space!  I love to add simple details that make a pop.  I decided to make this first card nice and simple by using the die cuts from the Hearts Foam Front Die.

Queen and Company

I attached 2 of them to the card front, then peeled off the backing and added glitter to each of the hearts.  Last, I stamped the sentiment.  Clean and simple!

For this next card, I scored a piece of cardstock and then did a little ink blending.  I cut it down to 4x4.  I popped it up on a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" white card base...

Last, I used the Heart Throb Kit to create this heart shaker box.  I love that stitched heart outline for die cut for the box!  Last, I added in the love die, also from the kit, to the top of the shaker box.  I added a coat of Nuvo clear glitter drops to the sentiment die for a little sparkle.

That is it from me today.  Hope you have enjoyed my cards.  So glad you stopped in!

  3. Hi Laurie. Love all your cards. Loved watching you create that red "galaxy" type background, as my colouring is so awful. Perhaps it's the paper, so will look for the Bristol. Also thanks for the tip about the heat gun. Love your designs. TFS
