Hey there friends! I am still a tad in shock over all that has happened over the last couple of weeks. Me? Posting today? Wow! This is my first ever PTI DT post and I am so excited! We are showcasing a gorgeous new set today, called Embellished Elegance. This set has so many gorgeous parts to it, branches and leaves and sentiments. I have 3 cards made up for today....just a tag over eager. This first one was very easy to make.
I stamped the branch in Versamagic Jumbo Java and the light color is PTI Kraft. I actually straightened out the branch onto an acrylic block so it would make a longer stamped image. I popped up the sentiment on white card stock and added in a little piece of Dark Chocolate for some contrast. I cut out the tiniest little red bird from the Trendy Tree Dies. I used a little foam tape for her too, so she stands out from the card.

For this next card, I used that same straightened out image to create a background on this gorgeous Soft Stone card stock.
I added in a sentiment from the new Keep it Simple: Thank you set, and then added another layer of vellum behind that. I added in 3 enamel dots to finish it off.
My last card features the die that goes with this same image I have been using. I cut out a 4" x 51/2" card base in Spring Moss and then cut the top and bottom with the die. I added in the white panel and 2 full branch dies in Simply Chartreuse.
The little flowers are more of the dies from the same set, in Pure Poppy, Lemon Tart, Hawaiian Shores and Summer Sunrise. I popped them up with foam tape and then added in a couple of dots with a black pen.
Thanks for coming by today to check out my first PTI post! I am so happy to be hear and I hope you like my creations! I know the other girls will have AMAZING projects to see. Here is a list of where you can go next!

ReplyDeleteElegance is the perfect title. A beautiful collection of cards, just perfect.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I can't wait to see what all you do with PTI!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, loads of eye candy here!
ReplyDeleteAnd your first post is exactly why you are the right person to join the most talented Design Team on the web. What a wonderful simple (uncomplicated - not simple to design) style to highlight just how chic these stamps can go.
ReplyDeleteI first got into crafting with tole painting, and so you can guess which card is my favorite. The swag of branches just fits across the card, making your "cut ins" sensational.
The small black piece of paper underlining the sentiment band is too brilliant. I've ever seen that done, and the card just wouldn't have the same graphical punch without it.
Your second card would be perfect for every occasion. Can't think of the last time I saw a card that would be a sensational design for a wedding AND a sympathy card.
Looking forward to see what your pairing with my all time favorite stamp company brings. A hardy welcome to the team.
DITTO EVERYTHING I WROTE IN MY COMMENT ON THE OTHER POST! I love these cards, and the coin purse too!!!! This is a DT match made in heaven! Just gives me goosebumps and happy happy feelings!!!
