Leaf and Blade Collection Day 2 {The Greetery}...

Welcome to day 2 of the Greetery's Leaf and Blade Collection!  Tomorrow is release day but we have a few more stamps and dies to share.  I will also be live today, Thursday, September 9th at 11am CST...its going to be a unique IG Live as I will be hanging out with a few friends who will be helping me share all the new goodies!

Don't forget to leave a comment on all of the blogs today for your chance to win one of 2 $50 Greetery Gift Certificates.

Let's get started with today's cards.  This first one uses the new Fall Foliage Hot Foil Plates.

The Greetery

To create this card, I did some ink blending in the center of the card.  After hot foiling all of the plates with gold foil, I added them to the center of the card and cut them down accordingly.  I popped each of them up on foam tape for dimension.  Using one of my favorite sentiments from Autumn Sketches to finish off the card.

The Greetery

There is a new line up in the Curio Collection called Curio: Autumn Findings Dies.

The Greetery

I used the Curio Divider and Details Die in white cardstock on a white card base.  I love the clean and simple look of this divider.  I die cut all of the Autumn Findings in white cardstock and then colored each piece with Copics.  I love all the little details!  Using the Let's Have a Word: Autumn die in gold cardstock to add in the sentiment.

The Greetery

Last but not least is the Rustic Wreath.  This is an amazing new set with so many possibilities!!

The Greetery

First,  I stamped and die cut the wreath and positioned it with removable tape where I wanted it.  I used the sentiment from Top Down Autumn Day and stamped those in the middle. I also stamped out the little batch of pumpkins to tuck down inside the wreath.  I added foam tape to the back of the wreath to give it some dimension.  Super easy!

The Greetery

So glad you stopped in today!  Here is the full line up for today's stops.

Leaf and Blade Collection Day 1 {The Greetery}...

The Greetery has an amazing release coming this Friday!  Over the next 2 days, we will share all the details and show you all the new products in the fall feel, Leaf and Blade Collection

In the Botanicuts line, there is a new set of dies called Gingko Dies.  They are prefect, just in time for fall!

The Greetery

To create this card, I masked off the top of the card (yes I do this a lot and I can't stop!!) and added in some soft yellow ink.  I love how it give a partial frame to the main image.  Next, I stamped Autumn is in the air, from the Fall Foliage Stamp Set (to be announced tomorrow) along the bottom of the card.  I die cut one Gingko branch in orange card stock and one in green. Using Copic markers, I added some color and detail to the leaves and stems. Next, I added in some white paint splatter and some shimmer to the stems.  I added them to the card with liquid glue to finish off the card.

The Greetery

This next card showcases the Layered Leaves Stamp and Die Set, as well as the Grace upon Grace Stamp Set....

The Greetery

To create this card, I used last month's Deco Triangle Hot Foil Plate on green cardstock with Copper Foil. Love the fall colors that worked so well with my stamped out Layered Leaved die cut.  I stamped the Grace upon Grace sentiment on white cardstock and added that to the card front.  Super simple to create!

The Greetery

My last card was made with the new Pampas Grass Stamp Set, Let's Have a Word: Autumn Die Set and the Botanicuts Wheat Die Set.  I also threw in some past favorites....Just Mason Around and the Bontaincuts Sunflower Dies.

The Greetery

Oops, I did it again!  Another masked framed area with a touch of blue.  I grabbed the mason jar already stamped out in my pile of "to use next time" images and begin building this little fall scene.  The Pampas Grass and the Wheat die cuts were so easy to put together and tuck in the jar. Next, I layered up those gorgeous sunflowers and added them to the side.  Last was the gold foil Autumn Die cut and a heat embossed sentiment.  This was not so quick and simple....my usual....but it was so much fun to put together!

The Greetery

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!

Have a great day!

Talk about a WOW Poinsettia!

Check out this amazing Poinsettia Die from Spellbinders...

Spellbinders

I love how easy it was to put together.  The red petals are in 3 layers and then there are 2 leaves you can add.  I added lines with Copic markers and then did a little bit of creasing to create the 3D look.  The centers of the flower were made with the gold cardstock that comes in the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month box.  I love that gold cardstock!

Spellbinders

I added some striped cardstock to a white card base and the popped on the flower.  Using the Mini Christmas Sentiment Hot Foil Strips, I added in the sentiments, popped up on foam tape.

Altenew

The layering stamps, of course, make this floral!  I love the dimension this easy shading gives!  After stamping the reds, I added some Olive and Moss for the green stem.

Altenew

Next, I die cut the image along with a fun foam piece and layered them together for the perfect dimensional.  I added the florals to the card base and stamped a quick sentiment.  Just to jazz up the white card base, I used Classy Stripes Stencil to add in a few little lines of detail.
