I am using new stamps from Simon Says called Floral Bookmarking.  I love love these fun blooms and the sentiment are amazing.  I stamped them in Amuse Poppy and the stems in Grass, also from Amuse.  The sentiment is in Versafine Black Onyx.  I popped one little flower up on foam tape to give it some dimension.

PTI July Release in Review...

Are you so excited about this month's PTI release?  Lots of fun stuff, right?  I have a few more cards to share today.  I hope you enjoy them!

This first one was so easy to make.  I stamped the flower image and I colored.  Yes, I actually used my Copic markers!  I heat embossed the sentiment and then added some texture with the Linen Impression plate...

Stamps: Botanical Blocks II, Keep it Simple: Thinking of You
Ink: Tuxedo Memento, Versamark
Paper: True Black, Stampers Select White
Misc: Purple and Green Copics, Filigree White Embossing Powder, Linen Impression Plate

I am in love with all of the Phrase Play dies.  They are so much fun and are great for a quick and easy card.  I cut out the die in kraft and then added in the "YOU" from the Headline Alphabet Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the PP stamp set on the bottom and mounted it all on the patterned paper base....

Stamps: Phrase Play #6
Paper: Kraft, Ocean Tides, Stampers Select White, Misc Studio Calico Patterned Paper
Ink: Amuse Slate
Misc: Phrase Play #6 Die, Headline Alphabet Die

This next set is SO much fun!  We all love the Wet Paints sets and dies, well now its complete with an alphabet set too!  I was able to make my own custom card front and let me tell you...these letters are SO easy to line up.  I added in a heart from the Heart Trio dies to finish it off....

Stamps: Wet Paint Alphabet
Paper: Smokey Shadow, Pure Poppy, Stampers Select White
Ink: Provincial Gray Fresh Ink
Misc: Heart Trio die, White Gel Pen

I kinda love this next card.  I want to use Lemon Tart on everything right now and this striped paper is my favorite!  I used the new August birthday sentiment and then brightened up the whole card with the pops of yellow....

Paper: Stampers Select White, Soft Stone, Lemon Tart Patterned Paper
Ink: Amuse Slate Ink
Misc: Lemon Tart Saddle Stitch Ribbon

Big Ticket Additions... a must have!  I am in love with this simple "hello".  I stamped it on vellum in Versamark and then heat embossed it.  I trimmed around the outline and matted it with the Big Ticket Die.  I layered it on a Circle Scribble die (another favorite).  The base is stamped in a fun little image from Note Niblets.  I finished the card off by adding in some small sequins....

This last CAS card was super easy to make.  I cut the 'hello" out of some patterned paper and layered in onto some Lemon Tart.  I stamped the sentiment from the new Banner Sentiments and then folded up the banner for a little 3D look.  Last, I added a wooden heart for some more detail...

Designer Phone Case Inspirations...

I am back today with our last group project for the July PTI Release.  It's a fun one!  Today we are showcasing the new Phone Case dies.  I have been looking at felt phone cases for quite awhile and haven't found one that I like.  Now that I can make my own, or make 4 of my own?  I am super excited!  So I went with wintery theme that kinda reminds me of a warm sweater.

IMG_9992

I used Smokey Shadow and Vintage Cream felt to make this phone case.  I finished the edges of this one using the blanket stitch which is so easy!  I added in one of the elements that comes with the phone dies...also very easy!

IMG_0004

I hand stitched little elements in green in the centers for more detail.

IMG_9999

I used the pocket dies from the Coin Purse die set, to add a little pocket on the back...

IMG_9995

I added a button to the flap for decoration, and then stitched in a dual lock tab for the closure...

IMG_0012

I wanted to use the same element for a card, so I made a little mini all out of dies....with similar  colors, Smokey Shadow and Rustic White card stocks...

IMG_0006

I popped each layer up on foam tape and then added the hello die with tomboy liquid glue.

That is it for me today!  I can't wait to see all the other phone cases.  Here are the places to head to next...

Wish you were here...

I am totally loving the travel theme of this month's Papertrey Ink Release.  If I could, I would travel all the time.  I'd even live in an RV if my husband would let me....but he won't.  So instead, I am stopping in today with 3 cards about traveling.

This first one is my favorite.  The set is called Get Lost and it has so many fun elements included.  I used 5 of the sentiments to make this little background panel....

IMG_9981

And then I used the US die cut and heat embossed another sentiment in the center.  I tucked some Dark Chocolate behind the panel for a little contrast.  I did cut the card down just a tad, so the panel would stick up just a little.

IMG_9976

I found some inspiration on pinterest for this next card.  All I did was search for suitcases and found tons of pictures of brightly colored bags, so I came up with this...

IMG_9983

This set is called Pack Your Bags.  It has a great set of coordinating dies to go with it as well.  I cut out 3 suitcase dies and then stamped them each in a different color.  The 2-step stamping for the handles is so easy to line up and so much fun!

IMG_9984

For this last card, I used the new luggage tag die, called Tag #11.  Except I turned it over and saw a phone...

IMG_9987

I used an element from the Monthly Moments: Travel Plans, in the background and then made a little map using the Hawaii die.  I stamped the sentiment from These United States and added in a little heart.  I added in the "call me" sentiment from Desktop Design on a vellum banner to finish it off.  OH, I added in the little signal bar, also from Monthly Moments: Travel Plans, just to give it a fun little phone element.
