Sending Happiness {Spellbinders}...

Have you jumped in to foiling yet?  If you haven't, this month would be a great one to start because the Spellbinders Glimmer Kit of the Month is AMAZING!  Check out the full kit....

The large oval shape is a full solid plate with LOTS of possibilities!  Then you have that gorgeous floral image that would be left solid or chose your favorite medium to color in the blooms.  It also comes with 2 sentiment plates and dies to cut them out.

Spellbinders

To create this card, I used Rose Gold Foil to add the large oval plate to a piece of white card stock.  Next, I used the Dazzling Dots Embossing Folder to add texture to that white card front.  Using the main floral image, I foiled black cardstock with silver foil and then added that to the card front with foam tape.  Last, I foiled the sentiment with silver and then added that to the card as well.  Lots of fun detail but a really simple to make card!

Spellbinders

Spellbinders has several different Monthly Kit options to choose from.  Click HERE to learn about the die kits, the Card kit and many more!

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!

Altenew August 2022 Bold & Beautiful Release Blog Hop

Hello friends!  Welcome to the Altenew's Bold and Beautiful Blog Hop!   Altenew has hit it out of the park again this month with some amazing new stamps and dies.  Click HERE to see today's full release!

To get started, I have a super clean and simple card using a set that may be a new favorite.  It is soooo pretty!  This set is called Arch of Flowers.  You can also purchase a coordinating stencil and there are coordinating dies!  Click HERE to see the full bundle.

Altenew

To create this card, I first grabbed a white card base and added scoring every half inch on the full card front.  Next, I stamped and stenciled in the color to the arched image.  I just love those flowers!!

Altenew

For the sentiment, I used the new One-Go Birthday Sentiments.  It is one stamp full of sentiments with the perfect die to cut them all out at once.  Love that!  I heat embossed the full panel so now I have a little stash of sentiments for next time.  I added that sentiment banner across the bottom and then finished off the card with clear drop flower centers.

The Greetery Wild Elegance Collection...

Welcome to the full reveal of the latest release at The Greetery.  This release is called Wild Elegance and it is absolutely gorgeous and so fun to work with!  I have several cards to share using the new stamps, dies and stencils.

First up the new Floral Arches Stamp and Stencil Set.  This new stamp set is absolutely beautiful!  It comes with a set of stencils to create the leaves and blooms and then a stamp set to add in the details.

The Greetery

I used the newA2 Arches Die Set paired with an older set, Comforting Commands.  Super quick and easy!

I used the Floral Arches again for this next card and cut out the front with the largest Crimped Frame die.  I added the panel to a dark green card base and then die cut another of the Arches in a light green cardstock.  I used the new stamp set called Arched Sentiments, which fits right inside either the arch of the floral images or on the Arches Die cuts, and stamped the sentiment in brown ink.

The Greetery

The next 2 card showcase the new set called Sketched Wildflower Bouquet Stamp Set.

The Greetery

For this first card, I stamped the bouquet and then used the stencils to add in the color.  I did a little cutting to make the bouquet fit inside the Its a Wrap Posy Pocket Die.  I layered the bouquet on a striped Postage Frame background and then added Happy Birthday from the Arched Sentiment Stamp Set.

On this next card, I used the new Sketched Wildflower Frame Background Stamp on the card front.  I used the Crimped Frame to cut it out and then layered it on a card base of the same color.  Next, I popped up the bouquet but trimmed off the base and then added the Hello sentiment along the top.

The Greetery

Last but not least, I created a super simple wedding card.  I used the new Elegant Arches Background Stamp to create the light gray background.  I die cut another Arches panel and stamped the sentiment in gray ink.  Using the new Lovely Silhouettes Stamp Set, I added one stem in black ink and then popped the arched panel up on foam tape.
