The Greetery March Release - Day 1

Hello friends!  Today is the day 1 of The Greetery's reveals.  The March release is adorable and SO much fun!  I have 3 projects today featuring  these new products. To see the full reveal, check out The Greetery Blog!

Bunny Hop stamp, stencils, die
BotaniCuts Carrot die
BotaniCuts Wildflower Mix die
Let’s Have a Word: Easter die

This first card showcases the new stamp and stencil combo set called Bunny Hops. This little wreath is so easy to create with a Stencil, stamped details and then a coordinating die to cut it out. I added some colored pencil details to the carrots and greenery and then layered it onto a 2nd fun foam die cut so the wreath instantly becomes dimensional. I heat embossed the sentiment on a green Crimped Frame Circle and then popped it all up onto a yellow cardstock base.

The Greetery

To create this light and airy Easter card, I used the new Crimped Slimline Dies to give a little embossed area on the white card front panel.  I die cut and ink blending the carrots and added them to the card.  Using the new Let's Have a Word: Easter Die, I die cut one in white card stock, a second in fun foam, used liquid glue to adhere them together and then added them to the card front.  I found a small "happy" sentiment from the Easter Jubilee Stamp set and stamped that in black ink.  To finish off the card, I added in some clear drops.

The Greetery

For my last card today, I am using the new BotaniCuts Wildflower Mix die with an older favorite, Sprinkled with Kindness. I don't do this very often but I made a sentimentless card. I wanted it to feel bright and clean and clean so I left it as is. I added a few pieces from the Shiplap Builder Die Set to create a base for the watering card. Those little Wildflowers were do easy to die cut and adhere, and then tuck down in the can.

Hot Foil Glimmer Kit {Spellbinders}...

The March Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month at Spellbinders is absolutely adorable and a must have for your Hot Foil stash.  These sentiments are just too cute!  Click HERE to check them out!

I created a card today including one of the sentiments from the kit and mixed it with dies from the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month

Spellbinders

To create this card, I did a little masking in the background and then hot foiled the sentiment with the foil included in the March Kit.  It's a rose gold color and its gorgeous!

Spellbinders

Using the dies from the Card Kit of the month,  I added this adorable little bunny and a few flowers to create a cute little Spring time scene.

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

So once the platform and your glimmer plate heat up, you add in the foil and the cardstock and run in thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock is just gorgeous!

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Antique Rose Layering Die Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome to the Craft-A-Flower: Antique Rose Blog Hop!  If you are new to the Craft-A-Flower dies from Altenew, they are an amazing set of dies that work together to create the perfect bloom for your cards.  The details involved are amazing and really make the shadows and folds of each flower really shine!  Check out the latest Antique Rose....

Altenew

To create this card, I made a light gray background with the sentiment stamped along the top.  I did a little ink blending with gray ink to show some dimension and then attached it to the card with foam tape.

Altenew

Next, I did some black ink splatter for a little extra detail.  I chose my pinks and greens and got the dies all lined up to cut and then cut out each layer.  Liquid glue works really well to layer the pieces together and slide them into place.  When it was complete, I added to the card front with a little more foam tape for dimension.

Yana's Blooming Birthday {Spellbinders}...

Hi friends!  I have some gorgeous new glimmer plates to share with you today!  Yana at Spellbinders has an amazing new collection called Yana's Blooming Birthday

I made today's card using the new Skinny Stripe Background Glimmer Plate along with Yana's Special Sentiment Glimmer Plates.

Spellbinders

I foiled the striped background with gold foil.  I love the shine it adds.  I used some washi tape from Altenew to layer on the big colorful bloom.

Spellbinders

Using black cardstock, I foiled the sentiments in gold and then cut them out with their coordinating dies.  I just love this font!

Spellbinders

Check out that amazing shine!  I just love what the Hot Foil System does for a card!

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Semi-Double Chrysanthemum Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Are you ready for a new Build-A-Flower?  I just love this series from Altenew!  Such an awesome way to add color.....especially for those of us who like quick and simple!  Today's newest bloom is the Semi-Double Chrysanthemum.  These stamps have some amazing detail and can create lots of different cards.  Keep scrolling to see my project for today, the prizes...yes, don't forget to leave a comment on each stop, and then the full blog hop list!

Here is today's creation....

Altenew

I wanted a clean and graphic look for today's card so that bloom would pop!  I used Altenew's Striped Circle Background in Obisidan Black ink for the base.

Altenew

I stamped the flowers from the set using just the fill in stamps and not the outline.  This almost gives it a realistic look!  To finish it off, I popped the flowers up with foam tape and added a simple sentiment from the Many Thanks Stamp Set.
