This card showcases the new Floral Edge Die.  I paired it with some of the patterned paper from the Celebrate 6x6 paper pack.  I added the front panel to a light gray card base and added a simple sentiment from the Many Thanks Stamp Set.

This adorable stamp is from the new set called Alten Riding By.  I kept this one super clean and simple but just stamping the image and a sentiment.  This cutie is super easy to stamp up with the multi-stamp image.

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Dahlia Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi friends!  Altenew has a gorgeous new Craft-A-Flower releasing today.  If you are new to Altenew and the Craft-A-Flower, this new die set is a layered die set that creates the most gorgeous blooms by layering different colored cardstocks.  All you need is the die set, your favorite colors of cardstock and a die cut machine to create these blooms.

Today we are all hopping to share lots of Dahila inspiration.  My projects are next, but keep scrolling for the prize information and a full list of stops to make on today's hop.

Here is my card for today....

Altenew

To create this card, I lined the white card base with the Brushed Grid Washi tape from Altenew.  It is all I can do to not put this washi on every card I make.  I just love the simple background it makes!  I did leave about 1 1/2" on the top of the card for my stamped sentiment.  This sentiment is from the latest Build-A-Flower: Primrose stamp set.

Altenew

Altenew has the perfect cardstock sets that work with the Craft-A-Flower Dies.  Each pack has multiple colors that are easy to layer up.  I used the Red Cosmos pack for today's card.   I die cut some leaves with some green cardstock I had on hand and then simply layered all the pieces together using liquid glue.  I spritzed some white paint over the bloom along with some Glitter Dust Spray for some shine.

Altenew

Check out the bundle available from Altenew.  It is the full die set, plus 2 cardstock sets.  These sets are the perfect match up to the layering dies.  All the cardstock you need is there to make the colorful blooms and leaves!

Hello {Spellbinders Large Die of the Month}...

I am so excited to share something today.  The Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders is AMAZING!  It is the most adorable Alphabet Die Set and its a must have.  First off?  Its already separated for you, so no cutting apart your dies.  I LOVE this!  And then most important?   The font.  Agh!  I just love it!

Here is the card I made with the July Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders....

Spellbinders

The font of this alphabet is just so cute and I can see myself using this again and again.  I die cut each letter out of different cardstock colors and again in fun foam.  I used liquid glue to layer the fun foam behind each letter for the perfect dimension.

Spellbinders

I used the Fun Stampers Journey Sunshine and Rainbows Embossing Folder to create the white background panel and then added in a strip of striped washi before adhering the sentiment to the front.

Thanks so much for coming by today.  Hope you have a great day!

Honey Bee Stamps Hello Summer Blog Hop...

Good morning, crafty friends!  I am so excited to be joining the girls over at Honey Bee Stamps today for their Hello Summer Release Blog Hop!  They have lots of fun new summer goodies and I have a couple quick and simple cards to share using them.

Keep scrolling to see my projects, to check out the giveaway from Honey Bee and to see a full list of stops on today's hop!

Let's get started!

Honey Bee Stamps

I am totally a flip flop girl.  I wear them all summer!  So these dies and stamps were an instant favorite!  The new Flip Flop Builder dies are the cutest and build the perfect flip flop!

First, I layered some rainbow paper onto a white card base.  Next, I die cut the flip flops in white card stock and again in fun foam.  I used the fun foam to add a layer of dimension and pop them up on the card front.  I used another piece of patterned paper and fun foam, to layer on another piece of striped color to the flip flops.

Honey Bee Stamps

I stamped the adorable sentiment, from the new set Flippin Fabulous,  along the bottom of the card.   And, of course, I had to finish them off with a tiny heart covered in glossy accents.

Honey Bee Stamps

Another ADORABLE new set is called Freshly Picked.  This set is FULL of cute little fruit images that can be colored in, or stamped with the coordinating solid image.   So many possibilities with this set!  You know me....I go quick and easy, so I picked the solid images....but then I threw in a little Copic to add in some details.

Honey Bee Stamps

First, I masked the card base off and blended in some blue ink and then layered on a striped stencil for a little more blending.

Honey Bee Stamps

Next, I used my Misti to add in the 3 sentiments.  I love this sentiment set because the font is adorable....and I do love a good font...but I also love the larger size so they show up nice and bold!

Last, I stamped and die cut the lemons and strawberry.  I used the solid images to color them in but then just added in a little Copic detail for shading.  I also used a white gel pen for a little shine.  To finish the card off, I used some clear drops for that last little added detail.
