Honey Bee Stamps Hello Summer Blog Hop...

Good morning, crafty friends!  I am so excited to be joining the girls over at Honey Bee Stamps today for their Hello Summer Release Blog Hop!  They have lots of fun new summer goodies and I have a couple quick and simple cards to share using them.

Keep scrolling to see my projects, to check out the giveaway from Honey Bee and to see a full list of stops on today's hop!

Let's get started!

Honey Bee Stamps

I am totally a flip flop girl.  I wear them all summer!  So these dies and stamps were an instant favorite!  The new Flip Flop Builder dies are the cutest and build the perfect flip flop!

First, I layered some rainbow paper onto a white card base.  Next, I die cut the flip flops in white card stock and again in fun foam.  I used the fun foam to add a layer of dimension and pop them up on the card front.  I used another piece of patterned paper and fun foam, to layer on another piece of striped color to the flip flops.

I stamped the adorable sentiment, from the new set Flippin Fabulous,  along the bottom of the card.   And, of course, I had to finish them off with a tiny heart covered in glossy accents.

Another ADORABLE new set is called Freshly Picked.  This set is FULL of cute little fruit images that can be colored in, or stamped with the coordinating solid image.   So many possibilities with this set!  You know me....I go quick and easy, so I picked the solid images....but then I threw in a little Copic to add in some details.

First, I masked the card base off and blended in some blue ink and then layered on a striped stencil for a little more blending.

Next, I used my Misti to add in the 3 sentiments.  I love this sentiment set because the font is adorable....and I do love a good font...but I also love the larger size so they show up nice and bold!

Last, I stamped and die cut the lemons and strawberry.  I used the solid images to color them in but then just added in a little Copic detail for shading.  I also used a white gel pen for a little shine.  To finish the card off, I used some clear drops for that last little added detail.
