MFT Color Challenge #114...

Welcome to the newest Color Challenge at MFT.  This week's colors are so pretty!

I instantly saw a fun version of a rainbow so here is what I came up with....

I used the End of the Rainbow Die and just cut out the 4 challenge colors.  I added the rainbow to the front of the card base and then topped it off with the larges Rectangle Frame Die.  I used the cloud from the rainbow die set and stamped the sentiment in black ink.  I popped the cloud up on foam tape and added in a little heart above the sentiment.

Head on over to the MFT Challenge Blog to see the details of this week's color challenge.  I hope you can play along too!

Have a great day!

MFT Card Kit Countdown Day 1...

Happy Kit Release Day!

Here is one more easy peasy treat bag to show you, using the new Treat Bag Topper Kit available now at MFT!

To create this card, I stamped a piece of aqua cardstock with the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Background stamp.  I used that piece to cut the topper die.  I added it to a treat bag filled with chocolate eggs.  Last, I added the Cottontail Cutie to the topper for a fun little Easter treat.

The MFT Blog will have lots more projects from the Design Team so stop by and check them out.

Thanks so much for stopping in today!

MFT Card Kit Countdown Day 2...

It's day 2 of the March Kit Countdown.  This month MFT is releasing an adorable die, paper and bags.  With this kit, you will have everything it takes to make your own adorable treat bags!

I found this chevron bag in my stash and had to use it for today's project.  I filled the bag full of Hershey's kisses and added the topper...

This topper was so simple to make.  I die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment and added it to the topper die.  I attached it to the bag using ATG so there is no staple to hide.  I finished it off with a pink bow!

The rest of the DT will have lots more to see today.  Stop by the MF Blog for more details of this newest kit release, happening Tuesday, March 26th!

I will have one more countdown sneak tomorrow, so swing back by.  Have a great day!

Mixed Tape...

I have the most clean and simple card in the history of ever.

White Cardstock

Picket Fences Mixed Tape Love

Versafine Black Onyx Ink

and done.

I stamped the image in the center of a white card base after doing a little masking.  I masked off part of the sentiment that said "if I knew how".  Now I will be dating myself but I can totally rock a mixed tape.  And make one!  I just love this image and the fun handwritten font.  This would be a fun guy card for sure.  Very clean and masculine!

So that is it for now.  Picket Fences is a new to me company and I really love what I see!  And have you seen those brushes?  FAB!

(The brushes and the stamp set are all linked below....)

Thanks for coming by today.  Hope you hare having a great Sunday!

MFT Kit Countdown Day 1...

It's time for the March MFT Kit Countdown!  This month's kit has an adorable die includes as well as a beautiful rainbow of paper and even some clear bags. The kit will be available on Tuesday, March 26th but until then we get to share some sneak peeks!

I used the just the die from the kit for my popcorn project today....

I used the red and white stripped paper from the MFT Proper Pinstripes paper pack and created popcorn bag toppers.  I filled each bag with the snack and then added the toppers.  I used the Stitched Alphabet Dies to add in the popcorn label.  So quick and easy!

There will be lots more to see over on the MFT blog so head on over there and see what the rest of the Design Team has for today.  Thanks so much for stopping in today!
