Hey there crafty friends! It's time for another fabulous release over at The Greetery. Betsy's amazing attention to detail is so evident in this months line up. Stamps, Dies and Stencils....all perfect for fall! Keep scrolling to see today's projects and the list of blogs in today's showcase. Don't forget to leave a comment on each stop for more chances to win!
Let's get started!
Probably one of my favorite little dies in the August release is the new Jumbo Curiosity Acorn Die. It works perfectly for a focal point of any card. I layered it onto an
Arches Die Cut and then added in the sentiment from the new Thanks All Ways Stamp and Die Set. Love that scripty font! I attached this arched panel to a green card base that I layered with the previously released
Tartan Builder Stencils and then die cut with the
Patchwork Die. Love the combo of those 2 products to give the perfect quilt background!
new To Pie For Die set!
This card was super easy to make and SO much fun! I ink blended up that background and then cut it down so a little of the white card base would show from the top. I die cut all the pieces of the To Pie For Die set in Kraft cardstock and then added in some ink blending around the edges. Next, I cut the cherry background. I did a little extra with this piece. I wanted those cherries to really shine through so I used drops of Glossy Accents on the cherries and let it dry. I assembled the pie and added in the little leaves on the top and then finished it off with the Hey, Cutie Pie sentiment from the new set called Fall Foodie Phrases Stamp and Die Set.
With this last card, I went a little outside of the box...
The Carmel Apple Die set is so adorable with LOTS of possibilities. But when I saw the "You're the Apple of my eye" sentiment, I knew it could make of for a super easy Teacher card. I paired the apple and the sentiment with the
Curio: Cover Die to make a little frame for the chalkboard. I used black cardstock and then ink blended some white ink on it to give it the perfect finish. I just love that big apple in the new set. So cute!
I am so glad you stopped in today!! Hope you have a great day!

A little info about commenting here on my blog....
My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam. The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out. If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok! I will see it and I will get it posted for you.
The other issue is wether or not you need a google account. I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain. If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner! I am sorry for the annoyance. I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should. I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again...
Blogger is a pain.
