You don't look a day over Fabulous!

This months Spellbinders Glimmer of the Month Club is AMAZING!!!  You guys, I love it so much because....STRIPES!!  First, off you get the hot foil plate that has the different sizes of stripes and then you also get a die that cuts strips of cardstock!!  They work together beautifully!  Here is my card using this months club kit....

First off, I foiled a white piece of cardstock using the striped plate and gold foil.  I just love that shine!  Next, I die cut 3 colors of cardstock with the strip die.  I added those in between the foiled stripes for a super fun background!  Next, I used a sentiment from Spellbinders Fabulous Friend Stamp set up in the top corder.  To finish off the card, I die cut blooms from the same cardstock and created a little arrangement on the front using Be Bold Blooms, also from Spellbinders.  I just love those adorable blooms!

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.  

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!
