This month's Glimmer Kit of the Month Kit from Spellbinders is a versatile one. You can add the glimmer....or you can add in stitching! The finished product is a very unique butterfly with lots of detail so you know the possibilities are endless! I kept my card super simple....aside from the stitching....so let me show you how I did it!
First, I created a white card base with a sentiment stamped at the bottom. Next, I die cut the Magnolia Blooms in white cardstock so I would have a fun design to anchor the butterfly too.
With Coral and Black cardstock, I die cut the main butterfly out twice. I die cut the stitched portion all in white and then added in pink and black stitching. This part was super simple! After layering all the parts together, including the black butterfly body and antenna, I used foam tape to pop it up on the card. I finished the card with clear drops for a little extra detail.

ReplyDeleteHaving fun with all the stitched dies from Spellbinders. What die did you use for the leaves behind that cute butterfly?
