I have 2 cards to share today. This first one uses the Glimmer Kit and the
Stamp of the Month which coordinates perfectly with this months Glimmer Kit....
I used Yana's
Skinny Striped Background on the black cardstock. I attached that to the bottom of the white card base and then added in the floral border from the Glimmer Kit. The kit also comes with edger dies to create fun borders. I used the scalloped one here. After attaching the boarder along the middle of the card, I stamped Happy Birthday in black ink along the top. Super easy!
I stamped the flowers in different colors and then cut it out with the same scalloped border. I attached it to a panel embossed with the
Simply Perfect Florets Embossing Folder. I added simple Thank You in white cardstock to finish off the card.

Are you new to hot foiling?
Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System. This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates. These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards. And the foils? There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!
Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....
So once the platform and your glimmer plate heat up, you add in the foil and the cardstock and run in thorough your die cut machine. Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens! That foil that is set on your cardstock is just gorgeous!
