Kaleidoscope Cross {Spellbinders}...

Good morning friends!  I have a Spellbinders die to share that is absolutely gorgeous! This die set is called Kaleidoscope Cross.  The intricate dies layer up to create the most beautifully detailed cross.  

First, I used the Essential Glimmer Rectangles to create this fun dotted frame around the card front.  This glimmer plate set is definitely an essential for your glimmer stash.  I love the effect this frame has for an card.  Just a little pop of foiling goes along way!  

Next, I die cut the pieces to the Kaleidoscope Cross and layered them together with liquid glue.  I used white and a pale yellow for the cross and I love the soft look it gives.  Last, I used the Faith Glimmer Sentiments to add in the perfect coordinating sentiment.

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.  

So once the platform and your glimmer plate heat up, you add in the foil and the cardstock and run in thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock is just gorgeous!
