I'm pretty excited about today release. I LOVE everything! I kept it under control though, and made a card and a little matching gift bag. Here it is...
This Fruit of the Spirit stamp is amazing! I love the fonts, the little added details and the size! I used Versamark for the background and stamped it twice up and down the card. Then I stamped and matted the main image in brown. I added some ribbon and bling for a little more detail.
I used the same stamp again for the bag, but this time I inked up the stamp and then took a sponge to remove some of the ink. I was thinking it looked a little like distressed Subway art after I stamped it. What do you think? Is it too distressed?
Then I added a little pear with the diamond grid in the background. I added some twine...and obviously didn't fix my bow while taking pictures...and the inside is filled with a little treat in a tissue paper bag. If you look close, you can see I took my CSS scalloped border die and finished the edge of the tissue. Cute huh?
Ok lets go check out the rest of the Perfect Harvest creations....
Thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!
Such a great verse and font, and I'm loving the brown and turquoise!
ReplyDeleteI love the brown and turquoise combo, too!
ReplyDeleteI this the distressing is perfect! You can still tell what it says but it has a cool look to it! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great little card and gift bag! Love the brown with this pretty light blue paper. Gorgeous ribbon peaking out from the sentiment/focal image on this card. I always struggle with making the random pearl pattern balance and still look random - you achieved that perfectly with this card! Love the scallop trim on your tissue paper too. Nice touch!
