A color combo that wanted to take me down...

I so badly wanted to play with the Embellish color challenge last week. Here are the colors...

I LOVE these colors together!  They are so warm and I knew that it would make such a fun card.  So I tried, and tried and tried...finally getting up and not sitting back down at my table for about 3 days.  I figured it was a major mojo problem and I had to  STEP AWAY from the cardstock.  Now here I am a day late and a dollar short....I had to post what I came up with.  This is again one of those cards that I have starred at way to long.  Just not sure what it is missing!

The pink  panel is raised and just slightly bigger than the white base.  Looks fun IRL!  And of course, that fab SU folder again!  It just looks like a really great sweater!  I love it!!

So that is it for today!  I have decided to pick up and travel to Tennessee, so I can go stand in line for Eclipse with Keva!  (Keva has no idea that I have decided this!  And I am sure my husband would not be thrilled...so I better stay home!)  I am super excited to see the movie again!  (Yes I used to be a closet Twilight fan...but now its out of the closet I guess!)  How fun would that be Keva?  Then we could sit around and make cards!  So fun!

Oh and check this out!!  Super fun stuff today....

You can check that out HERE!  Thanks Hannah!  (And thanks for the email Jamie!)

  1. There's absolutely nothing missing! It looks great. Sorry you missed the deadline (I know what it's like to have to STEP AWAY FROM THE CARDSTOCK! - hee), but that's good the rest of us; I have a feeling you would've walked away with this one!

  7. I doubt you're actually looking for input but the first thing that popped into my head was if the "Joy flowers" were red and the twine green, the flowers would look like poinsettias... kinda more Christmas-y. Just a passing thought! Love your little "pearls" as always! It's a gorgeous color combo!
