Merry Christmas {Spellbinders}...

Hi friends!  I am stopping in today with a GORGEOUS new Glimmer Hot Foil Plates from Spellbinders.  They have a whole new line of Christmas plates that are sure to make your Christmas Cards shine!

Check out this new Christmas Foliage plate....

Spellbinders

This card was super simple!  I added gold foil with the plate on the top and bottom of the card.  I added the red foiled panel to a red cardstock to keep it tone on tone.

Spellbinders

Next, I added a die cut circle to the center and a little ornament topper die.  I tied gold twine on the ornament and finished the card off with the black Merry Christmas die cut.

If you are new to foiling, here is a quick run down....

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

So once the platform and your glimmer plate heat up, you add in the foil and the cardstock and run in thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock is just gorgeous!

Altenew Texture Adventure Stand-alone Dies Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hey there!  So glad you stopped by today.  I have some fun cards to share using some of the new Stand-Alone dies from Altenew. Today they have an amazing release of dies that will be sure to add the most fun details to your cards.  6 lucky winners will win a prize along today's hop so be sure to check out the details below.

Let's get started!

Altenew

This first card uses 3 new products that I love.  I mean like they are at the tippy top of my favorite list.

You have already seen 2 of them from Altenew's last release.....

Beauty Within and the Beauty Within Coloring Stencils.

ok.  LOVE!!!!  You guys.  As you know, I don't color very often.  It's just not my thing. So when a way comes along to make it fun and easy....I am all in.  Love love those stencils!

Altenew

The second AWESOME detail is the new Burlap Texture die.  I just love that little bit of cardstock to layer up floral images.  I think that it helps keep the card quick and simple (my fave) but still adding so much detail!  I finished the card off with a thank you sentiment from the Many Thanks Stamp Set, along with some tiny black gems.

Altenew

Another new stand-alone die available today is called the Leaf Mix Die Set.

Altenew

This die set includes several gorgeous, detail leaf dies.  I decided to use the solid die in white cardstock, off to the side of this amazing leaf die in gold cardtsock.

Altenew

I added it to a card base that I ink blended with some Frayed Leaf, added a little black splatter to, and then stamped a sentiment from Build-A-Flower: Lavender along the bottom.  Super quick and easy!

Merry Christmas {Spellbinders}...

Hello friends!  Spellbinders has an awesome new collection of Christmas glimmer plates and I am so excited to share a couple.  I have 2 very easy Christmas cards here that were just super quick to make!  Everything you see in today's post is linked below in my supply list!

Spellbinders

I used Silver Foil to create these coordinating cards.  The first one uses the Christmas Sweater Background with that perfect circle focal point.  You can add all different kinds of details with this plate and still have that amazing shine in the background.  I added the Layered Poinsettia Dies with some Silver Fashion pearls to the center.

The second card was super easy.  I used the Christmas Essential Glimmer Rectangles on a red card front and then popped up the Merry Christmas sentiment on a white panel.  I layered the whole thing on a black card base for a little contrast.

Check out this shine....

A true friend {Gina K}...

Hello friends!  I am so excited to be here today to share a new set from Gina K.  This set was illustrated by the amazing Emily Loggans.  I am a huge fan of her hand lettering.  This sentiment set called Love Conquers is filled with absolutely beautiful sentiments.  I combined one of their previous sets, Be the Rainbow, and the new set Love Conquers to create this card...

Gina K

I used a masking stencil to create a soft, aqua background.  Next, I stamped the rainbow in light colors of ink so it wouldn't fight with the contrast of the black inked sentiment.

Gina K

Last, I stamped the sentiment in black ink.  I just love how big the sentiment stamp is and how it makes such a statement on a very quick and simple card.

Gina K

Stop by and check out the full Gina K release that is live now!  Click HERE to shop!

Thank you so much for coming by today.  Have a great day!
