Another Happy Holidays...

I am starting this crazy busy week out running for sure! My sister and I just got back from a super fun weekend in Kansas City! We got to shop shop and more shop! I got to see my WOSFF, Barb where she works at the Scrapbook Page (LOVE that store!). We also did some shopping at the Legends...yes I love that place, too! And then on Sunday we went to the American Girl store...LOVE again! Can't wait till Rylee gets under the tree, Christmas morning! ;)

So anyway, just had a few minutes this morning before I start back on all of the other projects for the week! Here is a quick CAS DeNami creation...

I love these trees! There are too cute! AND I purchased a Stamp-a-ma-jig this morning with my 40% off HL coupon! Why didn't anyone tell me how fabulous this thing was? It takes stamping with rubber to a whole new world for me! (Yes I have never had one! I must have been hiding under a rock!)

The trees are colored with Copics and then sparkled with Stickles...love that stuff!  I used some Zig glue for the "snow" glitter at the bottom!

So that is it for today!  Hope you all have a fantastic week!  I may be back but I don't know for sure!  I have Grandparents Matinee tomorrow, school programs, Wednesday night church, Thursday more stuff...on and on!  I won't bore you with that list!  (I told you Rebecca....busy busy!)  Hope you have some down time this week to get crafty!  Have a great day!

DeNami Tag Blog Hop

Welcome to the DeNami Tag Blog hop! Just in time for Christmas you can hop around with us and get some tag inspiration! I know there will be lots of amazing creations here today!

If you are following the DeNami blog, you just hopped here from Tammy's blog!

Here is my tag using a fabulous (and my favorite) DeNami snowflake stamp!

IMG_8929_edited-1

I found these boxes last year at Hobby Lobby on clearance, so I bought several! I have had alot of fun decorating them and this snowflake is definitely my favorite!

IMG_8932_edited-1

I covered the snowflake (stamped in Fresh Snow) with Crystal Stickles! I love the sparkly effect!  The outside edge of the tag is some faux stitching with a white gel pen!

IMG_8934_edited-1

This is definitely a CAS tag and so easy to mass produce!

So, your next stop on the blog hop is Laurel Seabrook !  If you want to go back to the beginning of the hop, just go to the DeNami blog!  Stop by there to see about the prize you could win!

Curtain Call Color Challenge: {Act 59}

This is my second post for today so you can scroll to see the first one if you like!

I am here again today with the Curtain Call Color Challenge! When I saw Stacey's inspiration photo, I knew exactly what I wanted to do! I always "build" my cards in my head before I make them and this photo gave me inspiration right away!

So here is my card....

IMG_8922_edited-1

I don't know if you can tell but the woodgrain has white in the grooves.  I inked up my IP with Fresh Snow and then ran the gray paper through the Big Shot.  Just like Stacey's picture, it looks weathered!

For the leaves, I lightly inked up one of the leaf stamps from PTI's Turning a New Leaf and stamped the image on the back of this Bo Bunny paper!  Then I cut out the image and glued the stamped side down!  Then I added some bling and a little ribbon treatment!

What a fun color combo!  Thanks for coming by again today!  I always appreciate when you can visit!  Have a fantastic weekend!  Join me back here Sunday for the DeNami blog hop!  :)

An attempt at a challenge...

So Michelle over at our Paper Dolls blog, issued this challenge...

"My challenge to you is to create a holiday card or project using non-traditional colors. That doesn't mean you can't use red, green, gold or silver. You just have to incorporate a surprise color in your creation."

So of course, I see first that it is OK to use Red...which I use ALL the time and can't stop using.  So great RED it is...then what color to go with it?  Well, I am sure this doesn't count....I used green.  Not traditional green but still green!  SO I had good intentions!  But here we are with a Christmas colored Christmas card...

IMG_8911_edited-1

And YES....Argyle again!  I told you I couldn't put it down!!

IMG_8913_edited-1

I think this layout is one I use over and over!  So CAS and pretty versatile for a stamped image or just a plain sentiment!

IMG_8912_edited-1

So back to the drawing board!  Michelle...I am going to try again till I can get the challenge right!  :)

Have a great day!
