Thank you...

I have a fun little project to share today using CSS' snew Doily Stamp and Doily die.

Using glassine bags, I made little cookie bags.  I cut out each die and then cut the sides down so they would slip right in these bags.  Then added the tag with the doily stamped in white.  That gray cardstock is I Steel Got It.  A fabulous color!

I added in a little thank you in pink and the topped it off with a bow.

For the Teacher...

Hey there!  I am here today with the CSS DT girls for a Release in Review.  Today I am showcasing the new set Airmail and the new Party Favor 7 die....

IMG_9218_edited-1

I whipped up a quick teachers card but using a little apple from Perfect Harvest and a thank you from Well Preserved Medium Jars set.  I scored the card diagonally ever 1/2" for a little texture in the background.

The box is a smaller version of the die.  You can see here how I did it but just sliding the die cut down on the die...

This makes it handy for just about any size of box including this one to hold a single Ghiradelli Chocolate...

Check out what the other girls have for you today....

Oh, how I love you...

So I had some time before work this morning...in fact I am on my way out the door in about 20 minutes.  So I thought I would stop in and post this card I made!

A simple one layer card using CAS-ual Fridays Loving Thoughts set.  I took a few pictures to show you how I did it....

First I used this heart and die cut the vellum....

I was able to center the heat perfectly since I could see where it was going....

I used some non-permanent adhesive and then ran my hand over so it would be even more easy to remove from the card.  This way the mask was down tight on my card front.

I stamped and stamped off all over until I had the heart covered.....
(see all those finger prints?  Thank goodness for the mask or I would have made a mess!)

And then peeled of the mask to this....

Last I added the sentiment right over the top and ran the whole card through the Big Shot with the Linen plate.

I love the fact that masking with a heart can make any non-valentine stamps work for a Valentine card.

Well, I am off to work!  Have a great day!

Here is my card for the week.

This isn't a new card.  I made this card back in early 2011 but it's one of my favorites, so I was excited to be able to share an oldie.

Retro Sketches #49

I'm here!  I'm late but I'm here!  :)  I'm not quite sure how it's already Saturday night but I'm amazed this weekend is already half over.  I got this card done as fast as I could and had to stop in and share right quick.  I am now on the way back out the door to a friends birthday party.

Here is this week's card for Retro Sketches...
