What's inside your Easter Basket?

That is what this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge is all about this week!  So instead of making a card with things you'd find in an Easter basket, I actually made a little Easter treat!  Here is this weeks project...

This is Party Favor 4 from Clear and Simple.  It'a fun little box with a little sliding drawer!  I fill this with Easter grass and a little chocolate...

The eggs and sentiment are from Cart Pals: Occasions.  Such a fun little image to add along with the sentiment on a label from Labels 9.  I also added in a little grass die cut for more decoration!

Here is this weeks challenge badge...

It's Party Time!

Yep that's right!  We are having a blog hop and it's FULL of party ideas straight from Clear and Simple stamps March/April release!

Here is a little bit about my party and then I will share some pics...

New Image

This whole party was inspired by 2 things.  First off the new Clear and Simple set, Party Elements: Baby.  I love this set for so many reasons but it comes with many elements perfect for making your own invitations!  Once I had the pink invitation done, I picked up the giraffe die from the Baby Shower die set and thought what a cute party that would make!  A Pink Giraffe Party...

Here is the invitation again.  I used the number "1" from the Alpha Dots alphabet set and then wrote in her name with black pen.  I added a little ribbon tab at the top.  This is just a fun little element I used on the treat bags too!

And then the cupcakes!  Easy to make with the die, a little heart stamp from the Baby Shower set. I just attached each to a toothpick for easy cupcake flags.

Here is a close up...

I cut out a stencil of the giraffe and used it to airbrush a little giraffe on each plate just for a little extra decoration...

I added a monogrammed label to each glassine bag, closing the tops with some pink polka dotted ribbon. The letters are from the Alpha Dot set and that gorgeous frame stamp is in the Party Elements: Baby set.

The polka dotted stork...

It's Day 4 of Release Reviews over at CSS!  Today we are showcasing some of the new sentiment sets.

I am loving this new image from Clear and Simple!  The set, Special Bundle, is so cute!  And so fun to have in your stash for those last minute baby cards!  Here is my card...

I stamped the plaid background stamp in white on Trendsetter Blue cardstock.  (Have I mentioned CSS's amazing cardstock selection...click HERE to see all the colors!)  Then I stamped and cut out the stork in Trendsetter blue ink and attached him with foam tape.  A quick and easy baby card!  OH and the brown tag on the side I made using the pinking die! FUN!  Love that thing!  it comes as a set with a ric rac die and stamps to match!  Go check it out HERE!

Here is a list of the DT girls who have creations to share today!

IMG_5892_edited-1

I used this Leafy Tree for the main image and then my favorite "Thankful for you" sentiment.  Then I added some Copic coloring, some texture and some rounded corners.  Easy peasy right?

I hope you can play along!  Check out the DeNami blog to see the other girls' One Layer creations!  And then add your link as well!

Let's review...

I kinda went a little overboard for today's Clear and Simple Release Review.  Today we are showcasing the new background stamps and I....well, like I said...went a little crazy!  I have 3 cards to share.  I guess I can't help it!  I am loving these new background sets!

Here is my first card using the new Plaid background stamp...

This card also shows a fun little flower I made using the new Build-A-flower dies.  Here is a quick picture so   you can see how I made them!  SUPER easy....

I cut the flowers out using some new Clear and Simple Felt!  Yes!! I said new felt!!  :)  Then I cut a very simple little spiral cut and then rolled them up into little buds.  I took a needle and thread and did a simple stitch through the bottom to keep them secure.  Super easy!

Here is my next card using the number background from the new Playroom set...

I had to add in those adorable denim overalls from the Tiny Fashions set.  I love the matching dies for the clothes in this set!  SO fun!

And my last card uses my most favorite background image from the new Circles Plus set.  Lots of circles and polka dots people!  This is a great set for your stash!

Here is a list of the other DT girls showcasing the new background stamps today too!  I'm sure they have some fun new creations to check out!

OH and remember that felt I mentioned....

This fun stack of colors will be available April 5th.

Thanks so much for coming by!  Stay tuned for more release review! :)
