Here is my card...

I just love this little bird house!  So cute!  I started to make a little tiny card, like a 3x3 and then somehow got inspired to make some Fun foam clouds!  I just cut out some random images and stamped them in white ink!  The grass and those little bird houses are colored with Copics!

Totally Hues: Challenge #3

Super excited to be on time, this time, for Heather P's challenge! This weeks colors are gorgeous! I have loved her combos because she puts the colors together for me! I have a hard time with that sometimes and I love to "borrow" what she puts together beautifully!

So here is my card....

This is a new set I picked up this weekend by American Crafts, thanks to my friend Amy! We went to Michael's and she pointed it out! To top it off it was on clearance! Love that!!  The little orange squares in the centers are a little bit of Copic coloring to add in that orange I am so bad with!  I was happy with how this came out though!  Orange usually hates me!  hehe!

Totally late for Totally Hues

Bummer! I knew I wasn't going to make it in time but I had to post a card with this color combo anyway! This way I can say that I have worked with all of Heather's color combos so far! :) Between potty training, ear infections, working 2 crazy days and on and on....I haven't had much time to do anything! BUT 5 minutes this morning and I came up with this....

I kept it pretty CAS!  I just love these colors with the splash of pink!  So fun!  I see Heather's new colors up already!  I hope to have a chance to play...on time!

Well, back to getting something done!  I get to go to Topeka this weekend and see my friend Amy!  So excited to have a little get away!

Just because...

This last PTI release was FULL of amazing new stamps and of course, LOTS of great samples by the DT! I was struck by the layout of THIS (first one in the post) card by Dawn and had to case it!   This card  was also inspired by the Card Patterns sketch #104! 

Here is my version....

After stamping the back with Text Style II, I distressed the whole piece of Rustic Cream with Tim Holtz Frayer Burlap and Fired Brick! This is a technique that I have used alot after seeing it on Jennifer McGuire's blog!

This new PTI die is so fun!  I cut out 6 and then ran them through with this Cuttlebug folder!  Again, I made my own ribbon with Copics and added some of my FAVE rose buds by Recollections!
