Paper Dolls Challenge #11

OK so I am seriously behind on the Paper Dolls challenges!  I hope they don't kick me out!  hehe!

Here is a card I made specifically with Anika in mind...because this was her challenge and she is a teacher!  :)  You can take a look at #11 Challenge here!

I LOVE the Uni ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen!  It is the best of all 20 million white gel pens I have tried...OK not that many but ALOT...really!  That faux stitching is so much fun!  OK I am off to clean my  messy house!  And laundry....does it ever end?

Thanks for stopping by today!

Merci

So yesterday I posted my Up Up and Away card using Mat Stack 3.  I thought it looked like a window with the clouds and the blue paper.  SO I had to go and try something else with the Mat Stack.  Basically create another window....so here is my card!

(Edit:  I am here editing to tell Melissa and Kara...I thought yesterdays mat stack looked like a window too!  LOL!)

I used Moroccan Impression plate to give it some detail.

And while I was making this card, my 6 year old was making one too!  She is already so creative!  I just love this card!  I had to tear up when she gave it to me!

She told me that since we both just got our hair cut now we look even more alike!  (She is my mini me!)  The day we had it done our hairdresser flipped the ends up!  She loves her new do!  :)

Thanks for looking!  Have a great Tuesday!

Pretty simple, but fun I think!  This set is one of my favorites!

Hope everyone is doing well!  We are gearing up for school to start next week!  I have to take on my new PTO duties too!  I agreed to take on VP for our school and we are definitely hitting the ground running!  Lots to do for our teachers this year!  They so deserve it!

CHA 2010

I am home!  Let me tell you how much I loved Chicago but there is no place like home...and that is not just because I live in Kansas!  (OK bad joke! hehe!)

So I had an amazing time at CHA!  I was so overwhelmed by all there was to do and see!  We roamed around forever until we picked a place to start and, of course, that had to be the PTI booth!

First off I met Nicole!  What a sweetheart she is!  Her warm welcome was amazing and it made my day that she knew who I was from the PTI forum!  She said she visits my blog too!  How fun is that?  :)

Next, I met Michelle!  She was very nice and is oh so talented!  Here is a pic of her with my make-n-take!

I found my way next to the Paper Crafts booth where I got to meet Susan Opel!  What a great gal!  We have emailed back and forth a few times here recently because.....I am getting published!!!!  I am so super excited that they picked one of my cards!  Now I just have to wait for that Jan/Feb issue to arrive!

When we were making our last rounds, I came across these 2 lovely girls and I just knew right away that I had found Sara and Nadine!  Such beautiful and super sweet gals!  Nadine made these adorable flowers and passed them out for pics!  First off, these little flowers are awesome!  I had to wear it around Chicago on my trip!  And I am happy to say it made it home with me in one piece!

Here is my CHA buddy, Michelle... my sister!  So glad she was able to come up and meet us!  My husband is eternally grateful that he did not have to go to a "crafty" thing!  Thanks Michelle!

So I have tons more Chicago pics I will share later!  Just wanted to get these CHA pics on here to show!

Hope everyone is doing great!  My google reader is pretty well flooded!  I don't know how in the world I will get through them!  I am leaving Saturday morning for a Copic Certification class so I am sure there will be a higher # on the ole' reader by Sunday!

Thanks for coming by today!  Have a great Friday!
