Altenew December 2018 Stamp Release Hop...

Welcome to the December 2018 Altenew Release Hop!  I am so happy to be joining the girls at Altenew this month to share some amazing new stamps and dies.  Throughout this post, you will be able to see my 3 samples using new stamps, a giveaway and at the bottom, there is a full list of stops on this hop!

First up, a card using the new Nature Snippets Stamp set, along with the Mega Greetings 3 stamps and Friend die....

Altenew

Using the Nature Snippet set, I created a fun background in spring colors.  I did a little ink blending a piece of cardstock so my reds would match and then die cut the friend sentiment.  I cut a little banner and stamped the "For My" from the Mega Greetings set.  To finish off this card, I added some clear rain drops for a fun little detail.

Altenew

I used Nature Snippets again for this clean and simple card...

Altenew

This was super easy and quick to create.  Stamping the gorgeous circle image in the background and then adding the sentiment on top, makes for a fast card!

Altenew

For this last card, I wrapped a light gray card base and wanted to keep going with the gray theme, so I decided to create the flowers in gray with little pops of red in the center...

Altenew

I popped up the card front panel onto the card base and then added in the darker gray thank you die cut.  This new set is called Ruffled Flowers and it is definitely one of my new favorites!  These flowers are gorgeous and so easy to stamp!

Paper Hug {The Stamp Market}...

The Stamp Market just had a new release the other day and when I saw this paper hug from Hugs and Hellos dies, I may have done a little happy dance....that coincided with some sort of happy screech.  You may have thought I was about to pass out or something.  So, of course, it went in to my cart asap.  And then it got here super fast, so I whipped this up today....

The Stamp Market

I love Stamp Markets stamps and dies because of the clean and simple possibilities.  It doesn't take much to make something easy when their products just jump off the cardstock on their own.  This paper hug?  It totally does that!

To create this card, I used an MFT stencil and did a little ink blending in the background.  I added that panel to a white card base.  Next, I die cut both the sentiment and its shadow in white.  Because all the white, right?  I layered them up using some Tombow Mono Liquid Glue and then added it to the card base with foam tape for another layer of dimension.  And done.  LOVE!

The Stamp Market

I am pretty sure now I just want to make paper hugs to send out instead of Christmas Cards.  hmmmm....I might do that!  :)

Thanks so for stopping in today!  Hope you have a great day!

MFT and Friends!

Hello Friends!  Today is release day over at My Favorite Things.  So many fun new stamps and dies to chose from!  Do you have a wish list?  I have one last card to share today using 2 new products...the best wishes dienamics and Blueprints 33.

Print

To create this card, I stamped the Floral Fantasy on a card base in light gray ink.  Next, I cut the 2 panels from Blueprints 33 out of vellum and the smaller one in white card stock.  Next, I popped those up on the card base and then topped it off with the glittery best wishes sentiment.  This makes for a quick and simple wedding or anniversary card.

MFT and Friends

Head on over to the MFT Blog to see what else they have for today.  Happy Shopping!

MFT Release Countdown Day 2...

Hey there!  Its day 2 of the MFT December Release countdown.  Have you been seeing all the must have stamps and dies?  So many cute things this month as always!  Today I have a cute little card to share using the new set called Forever and Owlways....

Print

To create this card, I used the Sweet Celebration Paper Pack to create this gorgeous rainbow background.  I need one paper pack with all of this paper in it.  I just love this rainbow pattern!  I cut the back panel with the Rectangle Stitched STAX dies and then cut another smaller with rectangle with the same die set.  I stamped the owls in black in and left them in black and white so all the colors of the background could shine.  I had to add a heart, of course!  I found a little banner from the Tag Builder 5 and used it to add the sentiment on each side of the owls.

And thats it!  Super easy and super quick!

The MFT Blog will have lots more sneak peeks to see today.  Remember everything you see this week will be available on Tuesday, December 11th at 9am CST.

MFT Release Countdown Day 3...

Good morning!  Today is day 3 of the MFT December Release Countdown and I am here with an adorable new set to share, called Fox and Friends!  I adore these little critters and just how easy they are to color up.  I created a clean and simple scene for todays card...

MFT December Release

To create this card, I crabbed the Peek-a-boo Circle Window die and die cut the front flap of the card base.  I added that adorable little gray fox on the front panel with foam tape and then masked off and staggered the sentiment on the bottom front of the card.

TMFT December Release

Next, I ink blended a scene on a 4 x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock so I would have that gorgeous cloud background and rolling green hills.  I added the little tree from the Trees of the Forest die set and added in a few hearts for a pop of color.

MFT December Release

Stop over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has for today.  Lots of sneak peeks are happening until the December Release is live on Tuesday, December 11th at 9am CST.

MFT December Release

To create this card, I scored a white card base and then stamped the sentiment on the card front.  I colored up on e of the blooms with Copics and then did a little cutting so the petals stand out for a fun 3D look.  I layered the bloom with some white and vellum die cut leaves using the Grand Greenery Dies.

MFT Release Countdown Day 5...

Hello!  It is time for the December Release Countdown over at MFT.  The Design Team is getting together this week to share the sneak peeks so you can stop over to the MFT Blog to see more.

Today I made a card using the new die called Bold Beautiful Die....

MFT December Release

Oh my, I love this die so much!!  To create this card, I did a little light stenciling in the background with the Captivating Mandela Stencil.  I used a light pink ink for a subtle look.  Next, I die cut the Bold Beautiful die in white cardstock and kept just the outline.  I added some versamark and Gold Embossing powder to the bottom of the die to give it some shie.  I added a tiny piece of washi to the card, just for a little contrast and detail.

MFT December Release

That is it for me today. Stop back by tomorrow for day 4 and another card!

Thanks for stopping in!

Simon Says DieCember® Release Blog Hop...

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Diecember Blog Hop! I am so excited to be joining these amazing ladies for today's hop.  There are lots of new dies for Diecemeber so head on over to Simon and check them out....but first, I have 3 clean and simple projects to share!

Simon has several new Big Picture Book dies and this new Otter Die is one of them...

SSS Diecember

To create this card, I die cut the otter out of Kraft and then again out of white.  I used Copic markers to color the eyes, the nose.  I pieced it all together and then popped it all up on foam tape on a plaid patterned paper lined card base.  I added in a little pink envelope and a note inside with the Hugs sentiment from the Best Hugs set from Simon.  Last, I a little heart die from the Mini Heart Die set.

SSS Diecember

I grabbed the new Nested Banner set and decided to use them to create a colorful background...

SSS Diecember

After diecuttng the banners, I lined them up and added each panel to the card front with foam tape.  I die cut the "create" sentiment from fun foam and white card stock to add the simple sentiment on the front.  I think this card would be perfect for a crafty friend!

SSS Diecember

I wanted to share a quick way to emboss and decorate an envelope....

SSS Diecember

I die cut the Wrought Iron Border Die out of 110 lb card stock.  I cut the outside border off so just the decorative inside shows through on the embossing.  This is so easy to do but adhering the die cut to the inside of the envelope flap and then running it through with your die cut machine with the embossing pad and a few shims of card stock.  I have a video I did awhile back and you can see it HERE.
