So this first project is actually a card holder. Let's start with a supply list:

I die cut all the pieces for the Stationary Box Die and then die cut one of them with the Capsule Party Scene Balloon Die. I cut out 2 extra panels using the box die and then cut the banners in each one. Before putting the box together, I used the Capsule Party Scene Stencils to add in colors to each of the 3 layers. I used 1/4" foam squares to attach the 1st banner panel behind the ballon panel and again with the 2nd banner panel. I was able to close up the Stationary box and still have room for a couple cards behind. I slide in the blue cardstock with the sentiment to show through the party dies. To finish it up, I added some Stickles to the stars on the front of the box.
Just to add a coordinating card (although hard to see that with this photo...it really does coordinate in real life!), I made up this quick capsule banner card to go in the stationary box behind the party scene!

This next card uses some old and some new:
This one was a fun and simple card to create. I layered up the cake, candles and the sentiment and then added in the 2. The 2 was so easy to create. I first used the For the Ages Die to cut the base number, then I placed it in the embossing folder with a little removeable tape. You can obviously cut the whole sheet of numbers but its super easy to just cut one out. Then I ran it through to emboss. This keeps that crisp embossing from getting flatted after die cutting. I used the For the Ages Detail Die to add in the yellow outline for a little extra color. And, of course, to finish this one off, I added more stickles! Stickles make everything better!

One last Pretty Picado Card....
To create this card, I die cut the Star Studded Capsule in yellow cardstock and layered it with the Pretty Picado border die in white. I added the most adorable Picado Blooms to the center and finished it off wtih a sentiment from Pretty the Picado Sentiment Set.

A little info about commenting here on my blog....
My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam. The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out. If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok! I will see it and I will get it posted for you.
The other issue is wether or not you need a google account. I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain. If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment,
please add your name and email address to the end of your comment.
This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner! I am sorry for the annoyance. I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should. I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again...
Blogger is a pain.
