Hero Arts Spring Catalog Release Hop....

I was so excited to be invited to share in the latest Hero Arts Catalog Release.  This catalog is full of amazing new products sure to ignite your creativity!  I have several favorites but I wanted to share a couple of them in today's card.  Keep scrolling to check out my project, learn all about the amazing HA Giveaway and see a full list of stops on todays hop!

Here is today's card...

Hero Arts

To create this card, I used the new Color Layering Tulip Pattern Stencil.  I blended the full panel but ended up cutting it down to showcase the "smile" die from the new Smile Friend Stamp and Cut XL.  I used the die to cut the sentiment out of the floral panel and then again in yellow cardstock.  I inlayed the sentiment onto the stenciled panel and then popped it up on a white card base.  I used the Tulip Pattern Cover Plate to cut the rest of my panel out and then. used one of the little die cuts to the left of the focal point on my card.  I added some bling with the Translucent Greens Hero Hues Enamel Dots on the card front.  Love the shine and pop of color that the enamel dots add!

And one quick and simple bonus card....

Hero Arts

To use up the negative from the Tulip Panel, I made a quick scored frame around a white card base and then added the smile sentiment, with a layer of fun foam behind it, to the bottom of the card.  I added a single green enamel dot for an extra little detail.

A little info about commenting here on my blog....

My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam.  The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out.  If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok!  I will see it and I will get it posted for you.

The other issue is wether or not you need a google account.  I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain.  If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner!  I am sorry for the annoyance.  I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should.  I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again...

Blogger is a pain.

  30. Your cute note card of yellow patterned cardstock and the sweet little flower next to it just stole my heart and gave me the idea to make a bunch of note cards for a gift using that basic idea: a smaller piece of patterned paper with a coordinating tiny flower in the white space. Really pretty! My name Mary W
