It's My Party {Spellbinders}...

 My sweet friend Carissa Wiley has her very own collection over at Spellbinders called It's My Party and it is SO much fun!!!  It is filled with the perfect party hot foil plates, sentiments, stencils and a stamp set.

Let me show you a couple cards I made using several things from the collection.

To create this first card, I scored a white card base ever 1/2".  then I hot foiled the main ballon plate from the Party Ballons set.  I ink blended into each balloon using the coordinating stencil and masks included in the Balloon Bouquet Designs Stencil Set.  I popped them up on to the white card base with foam tape and then added in the black foiled "Congrats" and the pink foiled "It's Party Time", both from the It's My Party Glimmer Sentiments. Super quick and easy!

I wanted to use that awesome balloon stamp so I created a coordinating card....

One this card, I heat embossed the balloon swag with Gold Embossing Powder and then added a scored frame on the other side of the card.  I hot foiled the sentiment from the Giant Party Ballon set and added it to the card with some foam tape.  Another super simple, coordinating card!

This collection as SO many possibilities to create.  I love the little leaves that come in the Party Ballons set....you could make cherries, oranges or peaches or even apples with that fun little detail.

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.  

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!

The Greetery -Urban Jungle Collection Day 2

 Hello friends!  Welcome back for a 2nd day of the Urban Jungle Release from The Greetery! I have more amazing new stamps and dies to share.  You can shop the full release on Friday, June 9th at 10am EST by clicking HERE!

First up, the latest in the Bontanicuts line....the Hibiscus!  The gorgeous floral die set is so easy to put together to create this big, bold blooms.  I paired the flowers with the new Wicker Weave Stencil.  This background is gorgeous and just goes so well with this floral/greenery theme!

This quick and simple card was so much fun to make.  I took strips of cardstock and adhered them to the card base and then die cut new Large Leaves: Monstera Die.  I added a simple sentiment from the Sentiment Suite: Thank you Stamp Set.  

Next up we have the Planter Pets Stamp and Die Combo.  This adorable new die set creates the most fun little animals that work as planters.  There are also several new dies to add in the perfect sized greenery to the pots.  I used the Plant It Spider Dies in each planter.  So easy and so fun!

The other issue is wether or not you need a google account.  I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain.  If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner!  I am sorry for the annoyance.  I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should.  I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again...

The Greetery -Urban Jungle Collection Day 1

Hello friends!  Another AMAZING Greetery release is upon us!  I have a few cards to share today using the new amazing Urban Jungle Collection.  This latest release will be available Friday, June 9th at 10am EST!  You can shop then by clicking HERE!

First up is the new Greenhouse Die...

To create this super simple card, I die cut the greenhouse in black cardstock and then added in the Kraft, woodgrain door.  The door is hinged so it really opens, if you'd like!  I lined the back of the greenhouse with a piece of acetate so the shine of the windows would show though....although super hard to photograph!  I added in some plants from the Pot-Purri Stamp set and finished it off with a sentiment from the new Way to Grow Sentiment Stamp Set.

This next card features a new cover plate die called Petal Pushers Background Die...

Another simple card made by simply cutting out the background die in white cardstock, popping up all the flowers and then layering it onto a coral card base.  I added in the sentiment from the new Little Labels Stamp Set and Die combo. 

Last up, I used the Garden Tub Die and the Garden Tub Filler Die to create this easy card...

To create this card, I drew a black frame around the card base and then added in a sentient from the Fresh Air Stamp Set.   Next, I die cut the tub in silver cardstock, did a little watercoloring on the filler and popped it up off to the side of the card.

Altenew June 2023 Stamps, Dies, Stencils, and More Release Blog Hop

 

Welcome to the June 2023 Release Blog Hop!  There are some amazing new stamps and dies so check out the full release by clicking HERE!

I am using a new favorite die set...Orange Blossom Die Set!

To create this card, I added some washi tape to the card front for a framed mask.  I added a little bit of Volcano Lake ink for a light blend.  

Next, I die cut all the colors of cardstock to create this fun little branch.  I added a sentiment and some dew drops to finish off the card.
